It was convenient to Acadia national park and the town of
On the positive side, the home was in a good location for proximity to Acadia National Park. This was the main attraction for our visit and we had a very nice time. The accommodations were comfortable. We had two issues with the home. The description, at the time of booking, specifically stated private gas grill and beach access. The beach access implied that you could reasonably walk to the waterfront. This is not the case unless you walk a mile down Highway 3 which is not pedestrian friendly. The shared gas grill was not a big deal to walk to the next property to prepare food. Just felt like there was a bait and switch since the description specifically stated a private gas grill. I called customer service, and they have since updated the descriptions, so hopefully future renters do not have the same issues. Other call outs: The home does have a second floor for employees only which has a separate exterior entrance. It is not apparent from the pictures or description. Not a big deal but was not expected.
The stay is wonderful. Very quiet area within driving distance of Bar Harbor and hiking in Acadia. Beds were a bit uncomfortable. Bath towels were on the smaller side. WiFi wasn’t very reliable, so just opted to not use it.
This was perfect for our family of 4. Exactly as listed, perfect location, clean and had everything we needed. Loved being close to the entrance of Acadia and a short drive into Bar Harbor. We had a wonderful vacation!
Clean and comfortable cabin that is conveniently located a mile from the Hull’s Cove entrance to the park. The 2 bedroom cabin was more than enough for 2 of us and would have been fine with a child or two. The kitchen was well stocked and there was really nothing I didn’t like.
We loved staying here. It was really close to Bar Harbor, less than 10 minutes, and less than 20 minutes from most areas of Acadia. The kitchen was perfect for prepping breakfast and snacks (more if that's what you're interested in doing). My biggest two complaints are first the sliding doors don't lock easily. Simple fix was to keep the bathroom door open if nobody was in it. The second complaint is the towels. They are small. Simple fix is bring your own. Neither of these complaints are enough to lose a star. I would stay here again.
Impeccably clean. Very modern and comfortable. Amenities are better than expected. Backyard and front yard decks. Acadia national Park Is within walking distance. Great convenience. Highly recommend it to anybody who wants to stay near the park.
We booked our trip last minute and there were very few options to choose from. We’re happy that we chose Wild Wood Way Cottage #9. It was very close to Acadia National Park and only a few miles from downtown Bar Harbor. The cottage was clean and spacious enough for our family of 4 and it looked to be the biggest cottage on the property. It looks exactly how it does in the pictures so there were no surprises. I would stay here again and would recommend.
These cottages are great. Newly renovated, well appointed we loved our stay and will definitely come again.
We are veteran travelers who really enjoyed the cottage. It was very clean, comfortable, and apparently recently renovated. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it for any of your future customers. Some minor suggestions: - recommend creating an on-line list of instructions for the property that contain: - where is the A/C remote control - where are laundry machines - where, ourside, are the trash containers - really should have screens in the windows - property managers located in Oregon are no help for addressing issues in Maine.
