Cozy Cottage located near Czech Village and Newbo areas in Cedar Rapids, IA

Very cute little cottage! Bed was amazing! The host was very welcoming and there were lots of little extras everywhere.

This is the cutest cottage! We were in town to help our son move into his first house and the location was perfect! We will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return! Fantastic supply of coffee, board games, and books! The chickens out back are an extra bonus!

Delightful cottage..every possible amenity was provided! She even had fresh veggies from her garden and eggs from her chickens. Incredibly clean, with an overall ambience of a warm welcoming hug!!

First, we didn't receive our check-in instructions until after noon on the day of arrival, which made planning unnecessarily stressful. Once we got in, the house temperature was set at 83F making it extremely uncomfortable. Despite waiting for 4 hours, the temperature never improved even after adjusting the thermostat. On top of that, the bathroom windows had only sheer curtains, offering no privacy specially at night when anyone outside could easily see in. Due to the heat and lack of privacy, we had no choice but to leave the property. The host initially agreed to refund us (this is in writing) which we appreciated. However, since then, communication has been non-existent. I've been trying to resolve this with Verb for a month, but the property owner remains unresponsive, and Vrbo's customer service has been frustratingly slow.You have to constantly call just to get basic updates. Overall, this was a terrible experience from start to finish. I would not recommend this property or Vrbo's support - based on how this situation was handled.

The cozy cottage met our needs perfectly for our stay. The host even provided shopping around the area prior to our arrival. The water pressure is excellent in the shower and its a quiet area at night. The host is easy to contact and has a quick response time with any questions you may have.

Cozy cottage was the perfect location. The Czech village and the Newbo market were so cool. The owner had a great selection of visitors materials and town history. We learned about the 2020 derecho and 2008 flood. We chose to go to the Kernels game based on what we read— and loved it. If you have a long stay you’ll enjoy the washer and dryer, but I missed having a place to unpack. There was no drawer or empty shelf available.

Great little place that is well equipped for a wonderful stay - including a wide selection of board games. The property manager is awesome and responds to messages promptly. Neighborhood is quiet and the property has a great yard and garden.

Staying there was lovely. Very clean and the decor was cozy.

Very cute place. I missed that there was no living room. My husband laughed about it because I always choose small and cute.

The Cozy Cottage is darling and very comfortable! The white and black farmhouse style has lots of great natural light and is a joy to wake up to. The cottage is dog friendly, which is an huge plus. Outside there is a fire pit and the cutest little chickens. We would stay again!

This is the second time I have stayed at this property! Its the perfect, cozy place to stay while I visit CR! The bed is comfy, the house is clean and stocked with about everything you could need, the water pressure is great, and Krystal is very friendly and communicative! I will definitely book again if I can!
