Truly a home away from home. Had everything you need
The property is quiet and conveniently located. Ying and family were very responsive to any issues and just for a conversation. I arrived early and needed an early check in. That was not a problem. The cottage was ready. I was able to park my uhaul on the property for a short time until I could get it unloaded and returned. Overall, this is the best place I have stayed on a trip or vacation.
1st time using a rental instead of a hotel. Highly recommend. The home was sparkling clean with all the amenities. Location was great; easy to access main street, Twin Falls, and highways for sightseeing. Ying was welcoming and accessible. Comfortable bed; plenty of linens; well-stocked kitchen. We will be back!
We enjoyed our extended time in the area. Ying was a gracious host and made our trip comfortable. We would recommend this location for a quiet stay.
Everything was great. Ying communicated with us to determine our arrival time and offered any help needed to find the cottage. When we arrived, Ying greeted us with a couple pieces of delicious birthday cake and we had an insightful conversation. Ying made herself available during our entire stay if we needed anything. The cottage was great. It was clean, quiet and like being home. We will definitely stay again when in the area!
Ying was so friendly and helpful. The unit was very clean, very homey, and very comfortable. Will stay here again.
Ying, the property owner, was awesome. She met us when we arrived to help with all the rental deals. We had planned on a biking vacation, but during our drive to Kimberly, one of our bikes fell off the bike racy. Ying couldn’t help much other than offering her sympathy, which was sincere and appreciated! We were celebrating our 37th anniversary, so Ying brought us a chocolate mousse dessert to help us celebrate, so thoughtful and kind. Feeling sorry for our biking mishap, Ying offered us an extra night to extend our stay free of charge. I don’t normally write reviews unless I’m extremely satisfied with my experience. Ying went over and above excellent service. I highly recommend this property to anyone traveling through the Twin Falls area, you won’t be disappointed, I guarantee it!
Ying was absolutely awesome. Her and her husband are available to assist you at any time. I would have stayed on there for as long as it took to sell my house in Florida because it was home away from home. Shopping in downtown Twin Falls is a short drive away and there’s everything you need. I highly recommend booking your next South Idaho stay here.
This comfortable, cottage sits on the owners property but is entirely separate. It's a clean, cozy place to stay if you are in the area. Communication with the owner was great and they even brought some delicious homemade pie during our stay.
I stayed here in Cozy Cottage A, tucked away off of a quiet neighborhood road for nearly 6 months. It was my long-term transition home while moving back to Idaho after being away for 20 years. Ying's warm welcome as I made my way into the driveway is the first thing I remember when arriving. She quickly showed me where to park, how to enter, exit, and all of the necessary details within this comfy cottage. The setting is very relaxed and it is very quiet throughout the evening except for a few owls that kept me company. My family is miles away in Alaska and being alone for this long was hard through the holidays and COVID travel restrictions. Ying and her family reached out often as friends to see how I was doing. She still will come by for chats and she bakes treats and left me fruit from the apple trees on my first week too. They are always quick to accommodate your reasonable requests if something doesn't seem to work or if a light bulb goes out. This cottage has an antenna and internet-based TV, a full kitchen with the means to cook and keep groceries in case you don't go out to eat often. The washer and dryer are also available and a large bedroom closet too. Privacy and rest are encouraged, and I never felt concerned for safety staying here. I feel much better here than in a hotel or empty apartment downtown. Now that my house is closing, I know I will be back to visit and be their neighbors for good. If I have friends and family coming to town to visit, this is where they will go if available. The cottage local conveniences are the restaurant at the end of the street, Kimberly's post office, more restaurants, ATM, gas station, and grocery. Those are literally within walking distance. In the other direction are the Family Dollar, Arctic Circle, another grill, car repair, and easy access to I84. Downtown Twin Falls is 10 minutes or so depending on where you are headed. Shoshone Falls is also close. Thank you so much for allowing me to stay and become your neighbor. :)
