The neighborhood was very nice, but it was a little hard to find due to the construction nearby. The driveway was a little steep and a little snug to park in, but the house itself was lovely!Super clean and welcoming, we had a great time exploring the area and coming home to a cozy cottage! Hosts were super friendly and accommodating.

We came to stay in order to go to a volleyball tournament in Sacramento. The house was so cozy and very sweet. The place was clean and so cute. We slept very good! The cottage will be a place that we could definitely come back to. Alexandra and her husband were very friendly and great hosts. They were easily accessible for a couple of things that we had questions about. Thank you so much for letting us stay! Would totally recommend this property!

We were welcomed (even our old dog) by super nice folks. It felt like we were visiting friends. The cozy cottage was an oasis for us in the midst of a hectic wedding weekend. We would definitely stay there again!wedding weekend.

Super quiet at night to get a good night sleep and also within short walking distance to shops and restaurants .Our dog really enjoy the garden and Alexandra’s friendly dogs and kitten. She is an amazing host that pays attention to the smallest details making you feel right at home. We appreciate you.

This was our second stay at Alexandra's cottage and just as wonderful as the first. Although it's small, it has everything one can need, including a wonderful full-service kitchen. The bed was comfy and the couch a great place to chat or watch TV. We already have our next stay planned.

We loved staying at this cottage. Thelocation to everything was perfect. Proximity to great trails, close to downtown, i was able to walk everywhere. Alex and Glenn were extremely great hosts and super likeable. The grounds were beautiful and tranquil. The cottage is perfect for a couple. The cottage was adequately stocked with all things to be comfortable and prepare meals. There is a washer and dryer on site as well. Thanks again!!! We will definitely be back.

The actual driveway isn’t marked with the address so that was difficult. We drove past it multiple times. I know there’s a map with an arrow but it’s not clear when you get there.I’m not good with directions thank God my husband was with me I might never have found it. The hostess was there to meet us and she’s a very nice lady. We later met her husband, Glenn and he was a cool guy. Very chill and peaceful setting! So many artsy ideas, sculptures and really interesting ways they present the garden and the inside decorIt was really fun to look at everythingIt’s a really cute place, absolutely love the Garden entrance area was so nice and calming.Love the aesthetics!! We took our dog and he loved it. A small/med dog can escape from the yard. It’s not clear from the pictures but the queen bed is downstairs. I got a little nervous thinking that was upstairs because I couldn’t tell from the photographs. Please note there is a full size bed in the loft on the carpet but it’s up an 8 foot ladder w/ wide steps. Its at an angle not straight up like a ladder. I’m 63 with bad knees and I was able to go up and take a lookThe only thing I needed that I couldn’t find was a pair of scissors, measuring cups or measuring spoons. Other than that it had pretty much everything we needed to do a little bit of cooking that we did. We stayed tonight and we’re very pleased with our choice of places to stay. We will definitely keep them in mind for the future.

Cozy Canyon Cottage was the perfect place to stay in Auburn. It was a happy medium between a 1-bedroom and a studio, and I’ve seldom seen such a well-stocked and equipped kitchen. Alex, the owner, lives right next door and was incredibly helpful

Our hosts were wonderful. Alex met us during check in - gave us a quick overview and gave us great suggestions for what to do in the area and where to eat. The bed was comfortable and so was the sofa! Everything was great. Also - the place is just beautiful and so well equipped. Thank you so much!

Drove up to the property in a very condensed neighborhood. The driveway had old washers and dryers, engine and parts, trash, dirt. I had to walk around the debris to get to the door. Host said it would be unlocked, it was locked. A large dog inside barking. The smell was of old trash and disgusting.

My dog and I were welcomed for 6 nights at this sweet Auburn cottage. The kitchen was well stocked--great locally roasted coffee provided--and there was a lovely porch with a garden to enjoy morning coffee or evening wine. The hosts, Glen and Alexandra, were so accommodating and easy to reach, and made sure everything was satisfactory. Located in a quiet canyon, we met many dog walkers, saw several dear and had a great experience overall! I would definitely stay here again.
