Cozy Bloomington IU Campus Getaway for 2!

Location and good communication.

It was so convenient for football and tailgating.

Parking was a bit confusing, and we were able to figure it out. The kitchen could have been better appointed with pots and pans, coffee (there was only two K-cups), there was not sugar or cream. These minor touches would have enhanced our stay.

Went to IU for dad's weekend. Rick's place was very convenient for the football game, 2-3 blocks from the stadium. I like to walk so it was very walkable to campus activities and Kirkwood for bars and restaurants. The apartment was very clean with a cozy TV room on the ground level and kitchen and bedroom upstairs. Both floors had a bathroom so that was very convenient. The cleaning service forgot to leave shower towels, but this was quickly corrected after a text message, things happen and you move on. I did not prepare any meals so I can't really speak to the selection of utensils. Bedroom was very clean and comfortable with plenty of closet space. You are on 17th street so it is crowded and noisy before, during and after football games but to me that's part of this exciting time in IU football. If you are tailgating you could easily walk back to the apartment to get more supplies, use the bathroom or take a break. I'll be staying again if available.

It looked exactly as pictured. It is not a large unit, hence the two person capacity, but it was all that you need. It was walking distance to the football stadium, parking on premises and a really comfortable bed. It was all very clean and easy to maneuver. While I didn't have any issues, Rick still reached out to see if everything was ok. It was a perfect stay in a very convenient location for a football game. Thank you Rick for a seamless experience!

This was a very lovely place to stay at! I was staying here from January 17-March 6 as I completed my required internship for my major here at IU! I feel like the price was worth every penny. I would stay here again! Even when it snowed leaving my car trapped, I messege them about a shovel and within 10 minutes the shovel arrived for me! Also when shoveling some of the neighbors shoveled for me and helped me. So that goes to show how friendly the area is! I had everything I needed when it came to kitchen equipment, cleaning supplies, etc! Again, worth every penny!

Rick's place was perfect for my work travel. It was very clean. Good location which felt safe. Parking was easy once I understood where to park. Had everything I needed for quick meals, and the bed was very comfortable! Thank you!

Great place! Very clean and well-stocked. Communication was excellent and the owner was very helpful! Located VERY close to IU and the stadium and athletics. I am so glad we found it and can't wait to come back! Thank you for allowing us to stay on short notice.

Pros-clean, ease of check in & location. I was able to check in early. The amenities listed were not all found in the unit. The owner did bring me an iron & table top ironing board ( not early to use). Cons- bare bones. Pots & pans & Keurig but nothing to go with them. The owner did brine me 2 coffee pods after I complained about the amenities.

Great for attending football or bball game

The property was perfect for our stay. Super close to the football stadium and tailgate fields. The property was super clean as well. It definitely felt like our own personal space for the weekend. Thanks for having us!
