Cozy Beach House - Available year round

Absolutely wonderful cottage with everything you need right there! We have been coming to Old Lyme for years, and this was the best, we are so glad we found this gem. Less then a block to the beach, parking for the family and friends. Great yard with comfy chairs, a grill and table to gather around! Dishwasher, washer dryer, Central AC, wifi, and a big screen tv in the Living room with big puffy sofas. The kids loved the carousel and Ice cream shop across the street. The front porch was so nice to just sit, relax and read a book in the evening. Much bigger than we expected, and very well equipped with everything we needed, felt like home! Thank you Sandy for such a wonderful week, we want to come back next year!!

This is my second time renting this home and I plan to rent again. The house is perfect for my needs. Close to the beach, comfortable and friendly neighbors to boot. The owners are quick to respond and very helpful. I'm already looking forward to next year!

Our family of four had the best time at this property! Our five year old and two year old spent hourssssss on the front porch, people watching and waiting anxiously for the Carousel Shop to open each day. The beach is the perfect distance, the walk back and forth gave us some exercise, too! Perfect neighborhood for morning strolls with your hot coffee. The kids absolutely loved everything about this vacation, Of course they are already asking to go back next year! I highly recommend this property!! We all really loved it.

This was a perfect home, steps from the beach. The front porch was great to sit and read and watch the street activity. I stayed mid June, which was peaceful and quiet if that’s what you’re looking for. I loved the outside shower and the ability to use a washer and dryer. The owners were kind and quick to respond to any questions. Ample parking which was great for day visitors. I hope to stay there again. I did find a great linen rental company since I was traveling cross country and didn’t want to pack all those items.

Beautiful 3 bedroom beach house located directly across from the carousel / ice cream shoppe & just a couple minute walk to the beach. Plenty of parking, spacious back deck with outdoor shower, gas grill & large yard. Huge plus was the AC after a long, hot day at the beach. This place was a perfect fit for our family of 6 adults & a 2 year old, would definately rent it again!!

We rent in Old Lyme often, and this property was as good as it gets...especially if you have the family in tow. The best feature was the central air. You can sweat it out on the beach a bit longer if you know you have the AC to come back to. The 3 bedrooms were perfect when it came to our 2 kiddos. Being right across the street from the Carousel was epic for our boys. We went there every night for ice cream and carousel rides. We loved the size of the yard, as we brought plenty of sports for them to play. The front porch was a great hangout in the evening, as Soundview quiets down. The centralized location to just about everything was awesome......beach, bars, convenience stores, pizza, package store. And Sandi was a pleasure to communicate/work with from booking through checking in. We will definitely be back!
