Cozy Barnegat Light Beach Cottage

Christopher and Ashley are always so helpful and easy to work with. We had another great offseason stay at their cottage on the island, while waking up to snow on New Years day morning.

Very clean cottage, well-stocked kitchen, nice deck with quality grill and chill lighting ( dimmable!)Great layout, small cottage but doesn’t feel tight inside; perfect for oldest fishing buddy and I. Close to both bay and beach…and Kubels!

Excellent location. Take the lbi shuttle for 5 and you can go to the end of the island. Bay fishing really close by

Christopher's house was bigger than the pictures made it seem, and our stay was excellent overall. Between the renovated kitchen, the deck and grill, and the lawn area (rare in LBI), this house had everything we needed to have an extremely memorable family vacation. We hope to come back and enjoy it again next year!

We loved this rental. The hosts truly made the home extra cozy. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Super relaxing atmosphere and neighborhood. We loved the back deck to sit and have a drink on at night. Kitchen was also laid out well and had everything we needed. Outdoor shower was a nice addition as well. Wonderful stay overall, a top experience of ours with vacation rentals (and we have stayed in a lot!). Hope to return one day.

Guess saying this is like our 5th long winter weekend stay at Christopher’s place is all I need to say. Comfy with a good Vibe…

We loved the unique character of this property, especially the beautiful, fenced-in, grassy backyard. It's very rare to have a magical secret garden all to yourself on LBI. We loved sitting on the deck and throwing the ball for our dog. We also love an outdoor shower! The location in Barnegat Light is quiet and the beach is gorgeous. If you value quirky charm then this is the place for you.

We had a fantastic time staying in this beach cottage. It was perfect for our family of 4 and dog. My children shared the room easily. The kitchen was great to cook in and the living space - indoor / outdoor ease was idyllic. We had a great time at the bay beach and the ocean beach. Walking to the light house, ice cream around the corner, an easy bike ride or drive to viking village. House provided beach towels and chairs and passes. We spent so much time outside - it was the best! The cottage was comfortable and clean and it felt like home. We can’t wait to come back!

The house was adorable and their gardens were beautiful! At this time of the year the area is less busy! Just what we were looking for. Thanks for letting us visit.

If you are a small family looking to bring your furry friend for a weekend getaway and go fishing, this is a fantastic property. The backyard is closed in, so your dog and children can run around freely in a grassy area with well kept landscaping, which offers a nice amount of privacy. You are in comfortably walkable distance to restaurants, shopping, boat rentals, entertainment, without feeling like you are in a busy tourist area. This is a family residence: we enjoyed seeing the childrens heights on the doorframe, you can tell they have loved this property for years, and it is the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. Can't wait to come back!
