Cozy Athens Retreat- All Decked Out with Pond View-7 miles from Dwntwn

The location is simply beautiful just like the pictures show. The host Kelly has thought of every detail such as labeling the light switches and soft close drawers and the porches are amazing it's quite and private. The best feature is the fireplace and so clean you could eat off the floors Every detail has been thought out.

We got so lucky on this one. Was more beautiful and well-appointed than pictured. We were needy. But hosts were awesome.

The vrbo felt like home away from home. The home was equipped with everything that was needed from comfortable bedding to a well stocked kitchen. The porches provided ample spaces for gathering. The sights and sounds of deer, turkeys, and a fox made us feel that we were tucked away in the wilderness. However, the gps showed we were only 10 minutes away from the botanical garden and shopping. We are grateful to have found such a wonderful place for relaxation and celebration.

We stayed at this house for The Master’s golf tournament. Property was very scenic, peaceful and relaxing with fantastic outdoor spaces. House was very nicely decorated and comfortable. Everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We were there for our son’s wedding. It was the perfect house in the perfect location. The land around the home is so quiet and beautiful. The home was in impeccable condition. If the opportunity presents its self, we would definitely go back.

It’s hard to find the right words to describe how much we loved our stay here! The house was truly beautiful, immaculate, and filled with thoughtful touches throughout. The outside decks, covered porches, and living spaces are exceptional! Even though you are only a few miles from downtown Athens, it feels like you are a million miles away in your own private retreat. Also, we can’t say enough about Kelly! She was very detailed, extremely prompt with responses, and checked on us during our stay. She is an absolutely exceptional host!! From now on, this is the only property we intend to rent anytime we visit Athens!

We came here for the week of Christmas. Kelly was a great host. She responded very quickly to any of our questions. My husband, son, and his fiance stayed with us. And a few days we had our future daughter in laws family come over. The location is great. So peaceful and beautiful. The house was spotless. The house was decorated for Christmas which was a great touch. We absolutely loved our stay.

We cannot say enough great things about this home! Exactly as described, owner was kind, immediately responsive and went out of the way to provide everything needed. The location was perfect, far enough out to feel secluded and on vacation while close to downtown and lots of local places. House was exactly as described and beautiful!

We really enjoyed our stay. I don’t think the pictures do it justice it is a beautiful, picturesque setting. It was exactly what we needed and more. The host was quick and easy to answer all our questions and very accommodating.

Wonderful! Everything in this place was perfect and high end style. The picture made it seem like it was screened in porch, but it wasn't (we just assumed). The house was by a pond not a lake? (probably just the part that we can see and access if we wanted to?) Don't bring your wave runners!!! Shouldn't deter you from staying at this place because it was sooo beautiful, clean, and such a relaxing place. The porch was used every morning and night! We are already thinking of coming back! Loved our stay!
