Cozy Apartment Located in Downtown Laurel

Just a little difficult to find the road it is on. Host instructions described it, but still a hard to locate. Google maps brings you to the actual home, but the cottage is on a back alley behind the home. Other than that, stay was as described and GREAT!

Monique was an AWESOME Host...Room was CLEAN. Location was near to Downtown Laurel...Very NICE neighborhood...Safe and Comfortable Stay...Would definitely stay again...

Very clean and cozy! Great location and loved that it’s pet friendly. Bed and living room furniture were comfortable. We will be making this our spot to stay when we are in Laurel!

This property itself is very nice, a cute upstairs apartment. The neighborhood overall is fine, in the historic district', fun to walk around and see the homes. The alley behind the property, and also one home behind this property, are rather unkempt/messy; I understand that this isn't something the hostess can really remedy. It feels to be a safe neighborhood and my husband and I enjoyed our stay. Brief walk, just a few blocks, into downtown for dining and shopping.

It was right in the historic area ofLaurel and a list of the properties renovated on the Hometown program in the area was provided if you wanted to drive by and check them out

It is so cute and roomy, and comfortable! We enjoyed the peace and quiet and watching the birds and squirrels from the windows. A walk around the block sports beautiful homes ( and one very uniquely decorated front yard). Lots of great food in these parts, but remember the town is pretty quiet unless you’re in church and many places are closed on Sunday and Monday.

This apartment definitely lived up to its name “cozy”. It was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The little balcony was a great place to enjoy our glass of wine in the evening and coffee in the morning. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet and close to downtown Laurel. The bed linens were soft and comfy. Our host communicated well and check in/out was very easy. We appreciated having a dedicated off street area to park. We would stay here again if we come back to Laurel.

This stay was exactly what I needed for my trip to and from Kentucky to New Orleans. The space was tranquil and the book with where to find restaurants and activities while in Laurel was so helpful. I would recommend this space to anyone that is looking for a place to stay in Laurel.

Lovely, comfortable upstairs apartment in the downtown area. Dedicated parking spot, very walkable area for me and my pup, quiet and friendly neighborhood. Bonus - no long list of duties upon leaving! Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was awesome. Very clean and cozy with fabulous decor. The apt was very close to downtown and also in the middle of a large number of the homes Home Town had done. Couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Laurel. I very highly recommend you make reservations for this location.

Older place.. but very nice. check In was easy.. no issues with stay.. other than neighbors music at night.. but it didn’t last to late!

Comfortable place

LOVED this place! Nestled in a neighborhood, cool air, perfect place to sit outside on a small deck that was equipped with a Cuisinart grill & icebox, COZY king sized bed, shower had great pressure & as a Woman I loved the little cart in the bathroom to put all my products. The kitchen had more than I would have expected.... A few spices, dishes/cups, Starbucks pods for the Keurig with filtered water & sugar/cream. Communication with host was superb & she was made us feel so at home without a worry of anything! Our 2 dogs came with us for their first road trip (from Austin) & they felt right at home. I truly feel it was because of the place. If you're a dog person, you get it. There are games, cable tv, walk-in closet with hangers, extra pillows/blankets. Choosing this place made our trip absolutely perfect!

Property was just as described in the listing - cute, clean, and comfortable. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood and an easy walk to/from downtown. I used the information from the host for a self-guided tour. I appreciated not having to spend my time on cleaning requirements before checkout (e.g., take out the trash).

We enjoyed the stay very much. Very clean and everthing you need and more! Very comfortable bed and great coffee center. Highly recomend this place when visiting Laurel and surrounding area.

Everything was perfect. Only thing was it was a very cold night. The heater couldn’t quite get the bedroom warm. We did find the extra quilt which did help. Host was excellent and very informative. Great area.

Our hostess was wonderful. We’d had a full day and were ready to relax. I loved this stay for some very personal reasons. Most people might not understand. My home is 120 years old, with uneven floors, character galore, at every turn…and the friendly creaks of doors and floors are like whispers of old souls/clouds of witnesses watching over our days and nights like a comfortable wink of peaceful encouragement from another time. This place was like “home” for my wife, dog, and I. We slept very well and we wished we could have stayed longer. It reminded me of staying in my grandmothers Victorian home, as a little boy. The only thing missing, was the “tick -tock” of her old kitchen clock. The decor was elegant and thoughtful, with a nod to relaxation. It gave me the calm you get, after a tough day, when you take your boots off, put up your feet, and wiggle your toes. This property is meticulously maintained and has modern amenities, without losing a smidgeon of character. Oh my goodness Monique. Your VRBO won our hearts. I am not young, and I had my second hip replacement in August, but I took my time on the steps, and I was not threatened by them at all. They have anti-slip strips on them. The railings are strong and those beautiful worn steps are a wonder to me. I engaged them, thinking about the many feet which trod on them…who were they? What did they do? I want to encourage people to be a part of the experience. Fully take it in. Thanks Monique. Well done!

This was a great property and the hosts were so kind. The neighborhood was beautiful and it is very convenient to downtown. We loved our stay and would stay there again.

We had a great stay. Apartment was super cute and decorations tied in with the Hometown theme. Directions were great. Owners are super nice and gave us 2 thumbs up for our dinner choice which was the Loft and food was amazing. The bed was comfy, kitchen had everything we needed (loved the retro looking appliances), bathroom was nice and had everything we needed (including a tiny little gecko that I saved and return to the wild he was cute) I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the place. Cute front porch you can sit and have a drink or grill. I will say if you have trouble going up stairs they are a little steep and you may want to put that into consideration. Only other suggestion would be some room darkening shades for the bedroom because the street lights do shine in. Overall would definitely stay here again. Cute neighborhood and felt safe and they have several Hometown books and Laurel brochures.

Great place to stay in Laurel. Close proximity to the downtown area & in the neighborhood with homes that have been re-modeled by Home Town! Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. This was my second time staying here & plan to come again.

The place is lovely but if you have any difficulty with stairs due to knees etc, the climb up is challenging.

This place was awesome! Comfortable and close to everything! We went for a walk the next morning and we appreciated the hometown tour that was in the book. We were also appreciative that we did not have to strip beds and take out garbage and everything else. Thank you!

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The apartment was perfect and extremely comfortable. The binder in the living room filled with ALL the info was fantastic! The neighborhood was safe and I could walk and not feel unsafe at all. I would book again in a heartbeat!

Home Town fans should check out this lovely spot! Great hosts, well located and absolutely charming place. We especially appreciated the extremely comfortable king-size bed and ceiling fan in the master bedroom. The kitchen is adorable and if you are a coffee lover, you will appreciate the Keurig with multiple coffee flavors and creamers. The living room is roomy, with a large-screen TV, games, books and puzzles, all related to Laurel. There are also several brochures and maps to help you plan your exploration of Laurel. Dedicated parking and super-easy to access. Everything was well-stocked and the host communicates everything very, very well. We will absolutely be rebooking this great spot on our next trip to Laurel.

It was fun to walk the streets of historic Laurel ! It's a beautiful town and all the renovation is a huge improvement. Keep it up Laurel !!

Relaxing and comfortable visit.

This location was perfect for us. Affordable with all the perfect amenities nice decor information on things to do in the area and a big plus was the list of addresses for Hometown makeovers which we enjoyed driving around and looking at. Ease of checking in and checking out was also great.

Cozy apartment description is very accurate. It is exactly that. The apartment was very cozy and cute. It is a great location if you plan on spending time in downtown Laurel on a great street literally within a couple of minutes of downtown. We only spent a couple of nights but i enjoyed the amenities, they had a great coffee selection and plenty of games and reading material available along with information of things to see and do in Laurel.

I had a wonderful experience in Laurel from my check in to my VRBO, which was exactly as stated. Clean, lovely, great bed and all the special amenities that make a stay extraordinary. The host provided loads of information about tours, restaurants and shopping which made it super easy to plan out my stay!

It’s a very comfortable, relaxing, apartment. Large closet, very nice large, comfortable bed. Close to the main area of interest with lots of dining and shopping options. Lots of history to absorb and lovely old homes to view and appreciate.

Wonderful stay here. House was warm, inviting meticulously clean, and well appointed. We really felt “at home” in our one night stay. Highly recommend.

This property is so cozy, with all the comforts of home. The king size bed is so comfortable and the little touches of snacks, teas, coffees available add to the comfort. The detailed information provided in a binder about the accommodations, things to see, places to eat along with menus was so helpful.

This place was all it has listed! They had met all the needs of the guests plus homey touches, bed was comfy and we would absolutely stay here again!
