Cozy and Spacious Denton Getaway

Very roomy. I would stay here again.

This was our second time staying here and I would stay again. The house was clean & big. All the bedrooms were nice. It has a large back yard but we didnt get to use it this time. We mainly just slept this time but had games & a pool table.

House was clean, and a perfect location for attending a wedding in Aubrey. Plenty of parking. The neighbor's dogs barked until.late into the night.

Yard needed. Better maintenance. Property was clean

The house was a great size, very clean and hosts were amazing. The communicated very well even before we checked in. Would 100% stay here again.

Check in process was very smooth. Unit is exceptionally clean. Bedding is very comfortable. Nothing fancy but was everything that we needed and expected. Would stay again.

Everything was great! Accuracy of how far to Ray Roberts state park isn’t 5 minutes, more around 30 minutes. Also asked if we could park 3 vehicles with boats, and that would virtually be impossible. Luckily only had 2 vehicles with boats and that was a chore for sure.

Very convenient location to everything in Denton and comfortable, spacious interior. Especially enjoyed the pool table and relaxing on the couch watching TV, tons of channels available.

The property was clean and met our needs. Our stay way perfect. The process was simple to manage

I am floored at these reviews, which is what i based my selection off of. The host was quick to respond and accommodated an early arrival, which didn’t happen and a later checkout so i could see my kids and grandkids a little longer. Upon arrival, the neighbor had a pitbull not on a leash in the front yard while they went back inside. Once inside cracks in the walls, ceiling, floor uneven and coming up, BULLET HOLES in the front window (they claim a bb gun from 25 years ago, so they knew it had holes but def bullet, see pics) this is the room with 2 full beds for the kids. Pool table is useless because the floor is so uneven, half the window ia duct taped in the pool room which is musty. I asked the owner why in the world they wouldnt tell me about bullet holes, they said thanks for letting us know. They already knew hence the bb gun comment which was not true. currently ignoring VRBO to resolve it, which is what i was trying to do before i left this review but they clearly don't care

The accommodations were excellent; met my family's needs and then some. Working with the host was more than pleasant...not intrusive, yet very welcoming, well organized and thoughtful! Happy to recommend this facility.

The property was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the beds were comfortable. The host was responsive and the location was great for our planned activities.

Our hosts were very welcoming. House was clean. The only thing that I would share is that the billiard room smelled very musty. So, if anyone has lung issues, you may want to pass on this property. Other than that, it fit our needs perfectly.

We needed accommodations for family for a wedding. Location was very convenient to our home, shopping and the highway. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, the house was clean and cozy. Definitely recommend!

Shower head in small bathroom let out a weak spray, we all used the master bathroom to shower.

Cozy and well furnished. Like staying with a friend. Would absolutely return next year for the same event.

The house was exactly as described. Many extra's were nice and the kid's playground was a big hit. Wish we had more time to enjoy the property. The only issue (not big, just worth mentioning) were the barking dogs next door & the loud trains in the night. We will definitely stay again if in the area again. Did not have any problems, very cool and comfortable, wifi was easy and the kids loved the large tub and the pool table was a hit.

Home as advertised.It was clean and everything was in working order. The location was convenient to everywhere we had to be. I would definitely recommend as a place for a family get together.

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and were delighted to find a space where we could have a long awaited family dinner with ALL the grandkids and most of the kiddos, extra grandparents, too! Thank you for a real “home away from home” experience! We’ll definitely be back and will be sending friends and others your way!

We stayed there for a weekend for our daughter’s UNT graduation. It was a great place to stay with extended family for the joyous occasion.

House was exactly as described. It was clean and comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the stay while in North Texas.

The house was all we needed it to be. We were in town for a baseball tournament and it was 5 minutes from the field. There was a stale smell in the house but nothing that a quick trip to BBW and a plugin couldn't fix. Would definitely stay again.

My friends and I stayed here on a quick weekend trip to see a band. The house is clean and comfortable and provided a great home base.

This home was perfect for me and my little family. Stores and restaurants near by, nice neighborhood and friendly environment. Check in and out process was easy and the host was responsive and timely. I would definitely come back if I’m ever in the Denton area in the future.

The home was nice and clean, close to everything we wanted to do. The pictures of the backyard and the room with the pool table were a bit misleading. Also there was nothing in the way of condiments or ice, salt and pepper...we had to buy everything, then throw it all away when we left. I know the owners do not have to privide these things, it is just that all the other places we have stayed did.

Great place, owner was more than accomodating

Home was clean and comfortable. We did not really use the home for anything but to sleep but they had a nice size TV and pool table and nice size kitchen.

It was the perfect size ,location, and comfort for our family get together nice place for our kids and grands to come and see us !

The house was clean and located close to TWU for my daughter’s graduation. The street was a bit noisy.

Honestly the house was in a nice area and it was a cute place, but there was almost no hot water. There was 7 of us staying there for my friends wedding and we couldn’t get through one shower with enough hot water. I did reach out but I was also busy being in the wedding that I didn’t see the reply about getting someone out to fix it. It says hot tub but it’s really a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, we all brought swimsuits so I think it needs to be reworded so that it’s more accurate. I’d stay again because it was in a good location, as long as they get the water fixed

The house was nice was a little bit concerned on how well it was cleaned when we found a dirty sock under the dresser. The other thing that was a concern was we saw little worms in the house and with the infant that was concerning, there was only one dish pod left to wash dishes so if we had planned to cook, we would only have been able to wash one time and then we would’ve had to go and purchase something to wash the dishes and that could’ve been that my fault because I didn’t look at what all was included I didn’t notice if it said it would have things like that to clean, even though there were instructions to put the dishes in the dishwasher when you left and not knowing the location it was in a neighborhood and there was quite a bit of traffic all through the night and you could also hear train and made it difficult to fall asleep. It was not terribly bad because it met my purpose of being able to spend time with my niece.

Location is good, checkin was a breeze, minus 1 star for being unable to get the bath tub drain to stay down and for some questionable breaks in the front bedroom window. Everything else about this property was fine. Beds very comfy. Just minor issues with the water pressure/temp in showers and the tub drain.

This was a great little place to stay. It had some little qwerks but that made it all much better when staying and talking with family

Ist and for most the house was cleaner than any rental I have stayed in and very much appreciated. The owner is very responsive and never had to wait for them to get back to us. Unfortunately the AC was not working correctly and we spent the 1st night pretty warm. The owner had someone out the same day to fix the ac but we ended up spending the whole day out due to the warmth in the house. The only thing I was not aware of when choosing the rental was that the house is unlevel and not all the doors closed, including the guest bathroom. If I was aware I may have not chosen to rent. That being said I may consider renting it again due to how clean and responsive the owners are.
