Stayed Apr 22, 2026We had a fantastic stay at the Smith Brothers Retreat in Sunriver! The home was exceptionally clean when we arrived, which immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. Check-in was incredibly easy and seamless, making the whole arrival process stress-free. Communication from the property manager was excellent throughout our stay—clear, timely, and very helpful. It’s always reassuring to know you can reach someone if needed, and they really delivered. The house itself is very well equipped with everything you could need. The kitchen is fully stocked and perfect for cooking meals, and the overall setup makes it easy to relax and enjoy your time. The comfortable layout, cozy furnishings, and new mattresses made for a very restful stay. Overall, this was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sunriver.

Stayed Jul 17, 2025Small cabin for 6 adults, needs to have AC for summer day use to be enjoyable. The in-house temperature was well above 80F on summer days. Be aware that it is right next to the train tracks, so you could be awakened by the train at 2:30AM. Also, it is in need of a number of updates and fixes.

Stayed Nov 27, 2024While the home was dated, we all loved its feel and are planning to stay here again. The train was a surprise, but it didn't bother us once we got used to it.

Stayed Sep 5, 2024The address I was given and the actual house number DID NOT match. Had to inquire at a neighbor’s if I had the correct property. The house does not have A/C, which was advertised. However, it would be nice if the living room had a ceiling fan like in the bedroom. Couldn’t open the windows/doors due to the fires and all the smoke. So, the house got rather stuffy by late afternoon/early evening. Also, the house is right next the railroad tracks. When that train comes whipping through there at 2:30AM, it sounds like it’s going to come right through the bedroom.
