Stayed May 16, 2024The stay was great. The house was clean but did have a missing side gate leading to the backyard as well as lots of flies in the laundry room. The neighborhood is wonderful but you alittle further than I thought from downtown Reno. We loved the spacious home but the only feedback for the next group would be to provide more seating. We were 7 to stay in the house with only 1 small couch, 1 chair (not decorative than practical) and 2 small stools. Watching tv at night was not as comfortable until we found 2 cots in 1 of the bedrooms. I would recommend more seating with comfort.

Stayed Sep 6, 2022Stay was great, the property is very nice, kitchen, beds, rooms, neighborhood were all great. Only thing is there wasn’t washer or dryer which I didn’t realize until we were there. It wasn’t listed though so it was my fault. Overall though great place to stay and very responsive!

Stayed Jun 2, 2022The day we arrived I get a text message from the owner telling me the tenants the week before were very loud and had issues, so if anyone knocked on the door he gave me a business name and told me to tell them I am here for work. To me this is a red flag. I came to my own conclusion that he is in an HOA that doesn’t approve of Vacation rentals. I also get an email telling me the rules again for the house which I had already agreed to upon rental.. So I get in the home the furniture was rickety and all needs to be tightened up. Also the toilet paper holders were barely on in 2 of the bathrooms. We were informed not to wear shoes in the house, however our socks turned black on the floor. The carpets were not vacuumed before we got there. The linens in the bathrooms were paper thin and low quality or very old. The owner needs to look at a few of these things and take note. The home is beautiful it just needs some refining. I have stayed at several homes and have never left a bad review.

Stayed May 26, 2022Everything went smoothly. The house & location are nice. The furniture should be updated. They seem to wobble and may be a safety issue. Maybe update and use better shower towels and remove the plastic from under the bed sheets. Other than that the experience was good.

Stayed Apr 11, 2022Pros: great location, quiet neighborhood, nice size home, use of garage appreciated. Cons: for us personally, one of the reasons to pay the vrbo premium is because you are staying in a home instead of a hotel room. But sadly, there is nothing premium about the furnishings of this home. It is full of extremely uncomfortable, flimsy furniture and barely cookware for two. If the owners invested in some quality furniture, cookware, bed/bath/kitchen linens and removed all the cardboard boxes and trash from the side of the house and garage, it would be a game changer.

Stayed Apr 4, 2022The house/building is very nice. The neighborhood is clean and quiet. That said there were several issues with the cleanliness, furniture and fixtures. Cleanliness - The bed spread in the master bedroom had some gross looking fluid stains on it. The black/white blanket in the master bedroom was dirty. Several mirrors in the house weren't cleaned and had fingerprints and smudges on them. The microwave wasn't clean inside or out. The fridge also didn't appear to have been wiped down on the outside. Items that needed repair or replaced - Toilet paper holder in guest bathroom is about to fall off. Lamp in hallway and the light in the guest bathroom needs a bulb. Bathroom drains seem to be stuck closed? Both side tables in the living room are quite wobbly. One chair at the breakfast table is a bit wobbly too. The blinds on the patio door were broken and needing repair. Two Cereal bowls had chips in them. There are scratches below the handle into the master bedroom. The tile is cracked in the master bath room and there is a nick in the tub finish. The futon in the living room feels like it's ready to fall apart. Suggestions/Recommendations - As I mentioned above, the house is very nice and well laid out. I realize some of the items listed are a bit nitpicky, You have a great house, but to get the best ratings things need to be clean, repaired and in good working order. The furniture and decorations are of low quality. The bath towels are like sand paper. It feels like someone just went to Walmart and picked out cheap stuff. Other thoughts - More towel racks, provide Kleenex boxes, napkins and 2 rolls of paper towels. Provide more chairs in the living room area for visiting. Remove price tags from home decor items. The welcome sign in the hallway needs fixing. A chair or bench near the front door would help encourage the guest to remove their shoes.

Stayed Feb 10, 2022We very much enjoyed our stay, property was as advertised. Clean, neat, orderly, and spacious with plenty of room for a larger family. Owner was easy to work with and check in/out was extremely easy. We will definitely consider this an an option for our next trip to Reno! Thanks again for the opportunity!
