Cozy 3-BR, 2-BTH House with Private Backyard, Driveway Parking, Near Lackland

Property was significantly more run down than pictures presented. Check in was at 4 and the cleaning people were still there until after 5 cleaning the property. Beds were comfortable but bathroom sink wouldn’t properly drain. Living room could’ve used better seating. Majority of windows didn’t lock and the neighborhood was skeptical. Trash dumpster was overflowing with trash on the road so we had no where to dispose of trash when we left. Would not book again in the future.

I’ll start with the positives. Location is ideal but this house is in a questionable neighborhood. The communication and promptness to make the situation better was ideal. Upon check in the home had a smell and was dirty. The online photos do not match what this listing really is. This house needs to be updated badly for the price. We booked this listing because my son graduated BMT and I was looking for more of a home setting for him. Instead we got a place that was dirty and not the ideal place for anyone of my family members. We chose to stay because finding something close to Lackland last minute was nearly impossible. This listing was deceiving to say the least. The mold in the bathroom ceiling, the hair on the bedroom sheets. The trash in the backyard the broken sink drains and especially the outdated kitchen. I will never book another VRBO home again. This first time experience ruined it for me and my family.

This property is in a perfect location to explore The Alamo and Riverwalk but still give you the quiet neighborhood feeling. Loved the fenced in backyard for our large dog but there are some holes if you have small dogs. Lots of neighborhood cats that visit everyday. Our only suggestions are to supply ice cube trays for the freezer and some condiments such as salt, pepper, and a few common spices. A few more dishes such as wine glasses and bowls would be great as well. Bedrooms don’t have tv’s which we didn’t care but some might and the living room could use a little more sitting. The bathrooms were perfect loved that the shampoo, conditioner and body wash are all supplied. We had a great stay and Daniel was a great host. Thank you!!
