The Space:

The East Austin Oasis is a designer, group-friendly historic home that blends comfort, entertainment, and convenience all in one stay! Just minutes from downtown Austin, this rental offers a cozy backyard full of amenities for year-round fun.



Enjoy a truly Austin experience with the Cowboy Pool, putting green, and covered dining area with BBQ grill. The backyard is fully turfed so kids can play rain or shine without getting muddy! String lights bring this outdoor space to life in the evening along with Sonos speakers located throughout the property.



THE HOME: The home’s open concept renovation is perfect for entertaining. Curl up on the living room couch (which doubles as a sofa bed) with your favorite book or to watch a movie while loved ones whip up meals in the kitchen. Home chefs will enjoy the stainless steel appliances and ample counter space. 8 barstools offer seating indoors and the outdoor dining table offers seating for 8 as well.



BEDROOMS: Bedroom 1, the primary bedroom, is on the main level and offers a King bed and an ensuite bathroom with double vanities and a walk-in shower. Bedroom 2, or the Front Room, offers a Twin daybed + trundle which sleeps 2 (note: this room does not have doors but has a curtain for privacy). The downstairs half bathroom also serves as the laundry room. Upstairs, Bedroom 3 offers a King Bed + Sofa Bed to accommodate up to 4 guests. The sofa bed is best suited for one adult or 2 children/teenagers. Bedrooms 4 and 5 each offer a Queen size bed. A small workspace is located on the landing upstairs. A second full bathroom with shower/tub combo is located upstairs and is shared by Bedrooms 3, 4, and 5.

LOCATION: This is the perfect space for those looking to explore Austin - just 1.5 miles to Downtown! 5.3 miles / 10 mins from the airport and 3.7 miles from the UT Austin campus. Walk to Ladybird Lake, hiking and biking trails, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and more. We recommend taking a dip in the Cowboy Pool or playing a round of mini golf before enjoying a night out.

3) No loud music is permitted throughout your stay.

    We were a group of family members in town for a wedding for 4 nights. The place is as advertised, and very convenient to the airport, downtown and restaurants, and trails along the lake. We all had a good time, and would stay here again.

    9 buddies and I stayed here for a golf trip, and it was perfect for us. Beautiful backyard, rooms were as advertised, home itself was very nice, AC worked great, host was very helpful in pointing us to some nice golf courses, and he was very communicative when we needed him to be but left us alone otherwise. Grateful to Dallas for letting us use his place, easy check-in instructions and very reasonable check-out instructions. would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend to others!!
