This was a very nice house. My family enjoyed the view of the ocean. Close to town made it nice.

Vintage charm with all the modern conveniences. Amazing view and so many places to sit and listen to the waves and watch the ocean. Super comfortable bed, clean hot tub, plenty of towels, well stocked and furnished kitchen. We loved everything about our stay.p.s. to future guests, as my stubborn husband finally conceded, gps won't get you there once in Lincoln City. Use the directions provided by host.

Everything was wonderful! The only issue I had was Google Maps getting me there! Very frustrating but the house was clean and the view was spectacular!

The house was as described on site. Amazing views of the ocean, and plenty of space to relax with views. The beds were very comfortable, and the setup of bedrooms and living area on the top floor and further bedrooms and kitchen downstairs was nice.

Playing board games in front of a roaring fire and soaking up the exquisite vista from the hot tub were two highlights from our trip. Things were a little rocky at the start when we had some trouble opening the door due to a stuck lockbox and later a broken key, but the management acted swiftly to get all of those problems sorted. Our only complaint was how chilly the bottom floor could get; however, with enough extra blankets on the bed we slept well. Even though we spent most of our trip around the rental, there are lots of wonderful restaurants and neat shops to check out nearby. We highly recommend you stay here if you plan on visiting Lincoln City, OR!

We had an amazing time! The house is clean and comfortable and has its own quirks and charm, which I love. It is accurately fully equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and plenty of towels so we didn’t have to do dishes and laundry the whole time. The hot tub worked great and was kept warm clean. I absolutely loved sitting at the fire pit, listening to the ocean and watching the shooting stars above. The view is beautiful. I will definitely come back!

The only thing we looked for was the switch for the hot tub lighting. Really a great spot. Will come back during summer months.

One issue with the hot tub that was very quickly remedied Perfect for our family of 5 The view to the ocean was fantastic and very short walk to the beach . Great kitchen and dining areas with extra space to spare

Very clean and neighbors were quite. Beautiful ocean view! The down side...parking was difficult, kitchen down stairs wasn't convenient for elderly family members and plumbing had some issues. All in all our stay was good. Thank you.

Kitchen area was a bit of a tight squeeze at the table and it naturally split our family upstairs/ downstairs more. The drop from the back door and then the steps was a bit unsafe and my mother in law hurt herself pretty bad and a couple other members of the family were close to doing similar. Be very cautious.

Wonderful location with lots of space! Enjoyed this home very much! Kitchen was well stocked and even had extras (seasonings, coffee, and popcorn) which was an extra we hadn’t received at many other properties! Highly recommend!

When we first arrived the road had cones blocking the road. I got out and walked to find the house and see how far we were going to have to pack our bags. Talked to a utility worker who asked if we were staying here. Told him we were. He told me to move the cones so we could get in.

Definitely an old charm to this place. Did not realize it was two stories from the photos but absolutely beautiful views from both. It’s a short walk down to the beach although we didn’t venture because we had plans for the days staying and it was quite chilly as expected. Also a home under construction at the split of the road and as advised the street address Was a bit confusing. Overall we enjoyed the stay!

Beautiful little house with lots of charm. Gorgeous views and comfy beds. Be careful of the stairs if you have littles, note that the kitchen is on the bottom floor and living room is on the top. A little awkward but nothing you can’t deal with for a weekend away. Overall a great little gem on the beach!!

Trip was fun. House was clean. I wish we would have known that the kitchen was downstairs and not on the same level as the living room.

Beautiful location, very private and quiet, and plenty of space. Everything was comfortable and clean, and the views were immaculate. We’d absolutely stay here again.

We wanted to like this rental, but were disappointed. We stayed from Sept 2 to the 5th, 2024. First thing we noticed upon opening the door was the musty smell, even the bedding. We opened all the windows and washed the sheets for the beds we used. Washer/dryer are noisy/squeaky. The entire house needs updating. Showers are small, and the water pressure is low. I was looking forward to close/easy beach access. It's a bit of a walk downhill, and back up (I'm 70). There was construction (known by host) which closed the access, requiring we hike up the hill, through a backyard path, and three blocks down. A few hours after we arrived the security hub/Simli Safe located in the living room began an alert every few minutes. The host said she'd send someone, but after an hour and a half of waiting we removed the batteries (bring tools in future). Ugh! Now for the positive; good supply of towels and kitchenware, back patio was nice, and the hot tub was clean. The host sounded nice, but we didn't actually see her. We won't be staying here again.

Cute little place, great seating and amenities. Only issue was its a little hard to find and the parking area is steep but overall it was a blast.

The views were amazing. Morning coffee was enjoyed in the comfy living room with an awesome view and also on the patio and wrap around deck throughout the day. House was nicely stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. Home is older but unique. I would suggest that you check the thresh hold strips going into the bathrooms. The screws/nails snagged a few socks. I would remind the cleaners to clean under the cabinets in living room. Several items and dust bunnies were noticed. Over all our family had a wonderful stay.

The Porthole is an awesome spot! A little tricky getting in and out of the driveway, but managed ok. With the number of beds, we were able to accommodate the 7 of us comfortably. An upstairs shower would have been nice, but we’re able to use the tub for baths and showers downstairs. Kitchen was well stocked and the view from the kitchen table was amazing. We took advantage of the nice weather, had a fire and made s’mores. It was a fun filled 4 days!

We really enjoyed our stay here at this house - great ocean view, and we loved the hot tub and fire pit. Taking one star off because the house was not ready until 5:00, and we were not able to check in when we were promised. Also, it was clear that the housekeeper, who was cleaning when we got there, missed some spots - there was a lot of hair left in the sink and the toilet wasn’t cleaned in one of the bathrooms. But we understood that there were messy guests before us and knew that it takes a lot of time to clean a big house so it wasn’t a big deal at all. Overall I recommend this property and would definitely stay there again!

The Porthole Property was a little hard to find that first night but luckily we bumped into some people who got is there. The views were spectacular, I couldn't get my daughter out of the hot tub and access to the beach was pretty easy. Really the only downside to the Porthole property were the showers. The upstairs bath is only a bathtub and downstairs had two showers but the waterpressure in one of the bathrooms was so light we all ended up using the one shower.

Amazing view from the living room and the kitchen. The swing, firepit, and hot tub are nice touches. We had a hard time finding the house in the beginning but reread the directions and found it after 15 mins. The house was clean, nice location but it was a lot smaller than expected especially the kitchen but the view make up for it. The host was nice, Ice in the freezer, hot tub was ready for us and a cooler was prepared for us outside.
