the deck and the view were beautiful.
This house has plenty of space and the basic amenities. It was just my husband, our two year old and myself. We appreciated the fenced in porch to keep our toddler contained! We did not bring our dog since we flew from Texas but she would have loved it here. Would definitely come back. The view was breathtaking. It was a very quiet neighborhood. We took day trips to Asheville, Clemson and attended a wedding on Lake Toxaway.
This is our second time staying here. Great loaction, beautiful views Great host
So relaxing and fun. Great roads to walk in the mornings or evenings. Property was clean and as advertised. Would stay again for sure.
Enjoyed the evenings because we were out doing hikes and other activities every day. The location wasn’t particularly close to anything, but not far either, and we were okay with that. We enjoyed lunch at the overpriced but outdoorsman’s lodge themed restaurant on the east side of the lake. The house layout was good for two couples. My only quibble was a lack of kitchen staples and some equipment. But we really didn’t intend to cook. We made coffee and toast in the mornings, and might have made muffins if we had a tin.
House was great, unique, had everything we needed. Sunrise & sunset views were amazing. Dogrun was wonderful for our 2 older dogs. Place is close to Gorges State Park & Panthertown for hiking/biking and 30 minutes to Brevard or Cashiers for lunch or dinner. We had a wonderful time and will be back.
This home is gorgeous! We loved the beautiful mountain view and the large deck that allowed us to enjoy it. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house was well appointed and very comfortable. The beds slept very well and I was impressed with the great water pressure since we were pretty high up on the mountain. The house was very dog friendly. They even had a dog dish set up in the kitchen ready for my baby. The large deck is fully gated with a gate that can open into the dog run for your dog to go potty. The only down side was that the internet speed was a bit slow, but that was not a deal breaker. It just meant a bit of buffering to enjoy the smart TV. Would stay here again!!
Very spacious. Enjoyed the fireplace and viewing the stars on the deck.
We loved our stay at Let it Go Lodge over New Year's. The accommodations were excellent; we had everything we needed and felt completely at home. Two notes that we've already relayed to the management company we think renters should be aware of: (1) the internet is very spotty. We had to use our mobile hotspot to work. But luckily the TV steaming worked. (2) the propane grill on the porch was filthy, like, fire hazard filthy. We cleaned what was maybe a year's worth of grease out of the trap and replaced the grease-covered tank with a new one before we used it. The management company obviously doesn't clean the grill, so be sure to check it before you use it. Those two issues noted, everything else was great, especially the dog run for our pups, and the management company was very responsive and helpful when we called. We'll book again!
Very relaxing
