The house is very welcoming and covers anything you might have forgotten! They do everything they can to welcome you and make your stay comfortable! This was our second time here and we already booked for next year!!

This trip was so very peaceful. Secluded and quite. Loved our long weekend and would return. The pet friendly home was very clean. The cake was very enjoyable. Thank you for the staples in the fridge.

The house was nice. It was clean and nicely decorated. Had a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Close to the Virginia Scenic Railway.

This home is perfect for people, dogs, and holidays the host went out of the way to make sure we felt comfortable, secure and had us covered for the next morning!!The place is located in the most beautiful area, the views are a million dollars!! There are no words to describe how much I love Baldwin Farm. Suffice it to say, I have gone every year for 7 years and intend to keep up the tradition.

Tucked away in a quiet area of rural America at its best. We so much enjoyed our stay here, it was very quiet and peaceful and the home was just impeccably kept. The owner was very courteous and responded to all our questions and even was so thoughtful as to bake us a cake. We were worried about arriving after dark and not being able to find the home, but we were given step by step directions that took us right to where we needed to be. I would not hesitate to stay here again. 5 Stars all the way,.

Our second stay and not our last. We love it here - the house feels like home, the owners are terrific and the views are stellar.

We stayed in this home for our annual Mom and daughters trip and absolutely loved it. Very comfortable, plenty of space, comfy beds and good lighting. But best of all was the beautiful pastoral view from the back porch and the total peace and quiet. This home is located in a beautiful part of the state and is close to Staunton, Harrisonburg, Lexington and other small towns. We used this home as our basecamp for exploring nearby towns and taking the Virginia Scenic Railroad Ride and Dine to Goshen. The owners even left a yummy Coconut Cake for our arrival. We will definitely return.

Second time staying at Baldwin Farms with family. It truly is a stunning retreat in the foothills of Virginia, whether you want to simply relax or get out and explore the rich history and natural beauty of the region. The hosts are warm and welcoming. Very responsive to any questions you may have before and during your trip. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay. Location offered idyllic views. House was nicely furnished with all essentials, plus ample supplies. Fresh eggs, milk were also in refrigerator. Place was exceptionally clean. This was extremely important to us. Our hosts were gracious, accessible, and extended unexpected hospitality.We hope to return again.

Out third visit and just as nice as the first two. A peaceful quiet retreat with a huge fenced yard for our pup to run in and check out the cattle on the other side of the fence.Love the new internet!

Absolutely stunning property and home! So peaceful and homey! I've not yet stayed anywhere with as many accommodations as this home. A fully stocked kitchen was very convenient. The owners had a delicious cake waiting for us and staples in the fridge like eggs and milk. We spent a lot of time on the porch and watched 2 storms come in and at night listened to owls and star gazed. The beds were very comfortable. The butterfly bush made for great entertainment watching all those who came to eat from it. We found 12 monarch caterpillars on the milkweed by the drive! I hope to come back someday!

The house was vey comfortable and the hosts had staples available for your use. Very secluded. Loved setting on the porch watching the cows, deer, birds and the storms roll through. Would love to return one day.

The property was perfection and exactly as described. Very comfortable, clean and peaceful. Lots of room for us to enjoy both indoors and out. Our dogs loved the fenced in yards, as did we while we relaxed on the porch. Highly recommend.

Such a lovely home in a heavenly setting. Baldwin Farm is exactly as advertised - peaceful, quiet, wide open skies and amazing sunsets. The home is very comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen, grill, and space to spread out too. Lovely decor! Thank you for the eggs, milk and staples waiting for us in the fridge upon our arrival.

Had several days by myself which was wonderful. Hubby, daughter, her hubby and daughter came to stay the last night. Made great memories. Susan and Harry are exceptional hosts and thats why I return once or twice a year.

This property had everything we needed for a fun time. We loved everything about the home, and the area was so beautiful. Even though it was in the country, it was central to the things we wanted to go to. The house was everything they said and more!

I don’t think the listing does this place justice. The home itself is what I would consider large with charming and comfortable decor. The living room and sitting room were perfect places to enjoy some sunshine and a book. The bed was comfy and the bathrooms and kitchen had everything you’d need.The scenery is what really makes the place. Sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous to watch and the night sky is so clear. There’s plenty of outdoor seating for humans to enjoy and a yard that had plenty of space for my two large dogs to run and play. The fencing is secure and around five feet tall.This will stay on our list of favorite getaways.

Peaceful, quiet, great for star gazing, bird watching and enjoying a cup coffee on the porch, an evening glass of wine and or a good game of Cribbage! The home is large with warm tones, very comfortable

This was my 6th stay at the farm. The house is always welcoming and clean. The absolute quiet is my favorite part. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but you are only 15 minutes from Staunton.

Love this property! We have visited many times and it never disappoints. Very dog friendly with huge fenced area. So nice to arrive to find the best banana bread waiting along with eggs, milk, half and half and just about anything to get settled in. So much to do in the area…vineyards, antiques, fall festivals, orchards with the best apple cider doughnuts, downtown Staunton or just hanging on the porch looking at the mountains and cows!

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views, great weather, and comfortable property. We left feeling recharged. The hosts were very kind and left us goodies!

Friends came for a wedding in the area. Wished we had more time here at the house. It was so peaceful on the deck and in the house. Really enjoyed our stay.

This is house is amazing, the quiet and serene location was perfect for our girls weekend. The hosts were amazing, helping us with checking in and even left us cake - what a treat! The house was immaculate and felt so cozy and welcoming. There is a beautiful fenced in yard - though we didn’t have dogs with us they are extremely dog friendly and we would certainly book again and bring along or little fur babies! Perfect country stay!

I can’t say enough good things about this stay. The view from the back porch is beyond what words can describe. We watched the cows across the field as we drank our morning coffee and watched an awesome thunderstorm as we ate dinner. We saw deer every time we pulled into the driveway and it was an incredibly relaxing space. The house is about 20 min from Staunton, which had everything we needed, including places to eat, entertainment, and breweries/cideries. We hiked Crabtree Falls, which wasn’t too far of a drive, and overall loved that this house was kind of in the middle nowhere while still being close enough to what we wanted to do and to things to explore. The owner had a delicious apple pie baked for us upon arrival and check in and check out was effortless. The house was incredibly clean and very big. The best part of this house was that we could bring our 2 dogs. Our 2 German Shepherds (ages 13 and 5) LOVED the large fenced in yard, the spacious back porch, and the doggy door. We will absolutely be back and cannot recommend this place enough to anyone looking to visit Virginia.

Our family of 6 traveled to VA for a wedding and wanted to steer away from the hotel route. My husband found this gem of a house and let me say this home truly exceeded our expectations. The property is absolutely beautiful and the home itself was incredibly spacious and super clean. Will definitely be staying here for any future VA visits.
