Country living in town limits

Beautiful property and such an amazing setting away from it all. Monica is a great host and we had great communication for any questions.

Nice and quite

We were a party of 9 people visiting Jasper National Park. Hinton was close enough to all major nearby attractions. The home was clean and met or exceeded our expectations. We had a very comfortable, fun and memorable stay. Monica was very communicative, flexible and very responsive to ensure our stay was comfortable. And we saw deer and elk in the backyard! Highly recommend this place. Thanks Monica!

Beautiful rustic setting in spruce forest full of birds and a white-tailed deer mom and new baby. The house was perfect for our ten-member family group. Only problem was many of the windows seemed damaged and would not stay open unless we brought in a stick or piece of firewood to prop them up.

It is an overall pretty and cool place to stay. However it is a bit far from the town.

Amenities are beautiful. Surroundings are amazing. Not the ideal location if you are hoping to use this home as a base for getting to and from Jasper. We made one trip to Jasper and it was just over an hour, also an hour to Miette. BUT… if you are using this place to get away from everything and to unwind in the outdoors this place is perfect!!! The host is easy to get a hold of if needed. Everything you need plus more in the kitchen! Fire pit is beautiful. We would definitely consider staying here again if the host will have us!

Booked for 5 nights and left after the second night. You will hear train noise 24/7. The line is 75m from the house. Got no sleep for those two nights irrespective of which bedroom you choose to sleep in. The host suggested only using the underground rooms and would provide a noise cancellation machine when contacted. DO NOT EXPECT AN UNBROKEN NIGHTS SLEEP. We used a below ground bedroom. In addition the decks were unswept, there are cameras that are not listed and perhaps the cameras caught sight of who moved the rifle propped up by the door when we arrived but had been moved overnight.

Beautiful property and accommodations

House was nice. Kitchen was well stocked. Appreciated the snacks, water and bug spray offered by host. The downfall is that the house is located in an industrial neighborhood with freight trains passing every 1-2 hours in the middle of the night. Often times the trains are loading and unloading cargo! Unfortunately, the noise from the trains is very disruptive to a peaceful night’s sleep. The house does not have air conditioning nor fans, so you have to keep the windows open at night to cool off the house which makes the train noise and machinery noise difficult to bear.

House was good, area is beautiful!

It was great and wish we’d had longer to stay and enjoy all the things this property had to offer.

The house was perfect for us. More than enough bedrooms for everyone and great common spaces. The deck was a great hangout spot. Also the property was great for our little ones riding their strider bikes.

My wife and I and six friends from Europe stayed in this property. Absolutely stunning, lots of space and everything you need, including a generous fire pit and lots of firewood!

The house is located off a dirt road in a quiet area (asides from the train tracks). It had everything we needed and provided us with a good base to explore and hike Jasper and surrounding area

The place was big and clean. Beautiful pictures hanging on all the walls. They had everything available to make your stay comfortable. The only drawback was the location- it’s set back from the town and not a 10 minute walk to stores unless you hiked through the back woods and over railroad tracks. Outlet in bathroom by entry only had outlet behind the mirror so it couldn’t be used. One downstairs bedroom had a big stain (probably paint) on carpet. Great place for a big family- they had a crib for a baby too. We really enjoyed our stay only mentioned the negative in case they want to make some changes.

Nice, big house. The fire pit was really nice. Fire wood provided too. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the future
