Country Home with a view of the Mountains and Whitetail Ski Resort

Our kids loved holding the kids (baby goats) and meeting all of the other animals. The house was cozy and view of the stars and mountains peaceful.

The house was perfect! It was inviting, clean and enough space for my family of 7. 15 mins from whitetail, accommodating owners and fully stacked house. We had fresh creamer for our coffee and my children loved all the farm animals. Thank you for another family experience and memory!

It was a cozy, clean house and we were greeted every time we went outside to a chorus of cuteness from the multitude of sweet goats. My daughter and I held and cuddled baby goats. The horses were pretty and nice, too. I couldn't smell the nearby chicken houses at all. It's a bummer to have only one toilet, but we knew that going in and this was so much better than any hotel room! The owners were responsive and so kind to me and my daughter. It was an easy drive to Whitetail and we will try to stay here every time we visit Whitetail now!

Convenient lodging for visiting family in Hagerstown, MD. Enjoyed the gorgeous vista view across from Whitetail Ski Resort. Lovely to be able to say hello to the farm animals. Host was responsive and friendly; home was clean, peaceful, and accommodating.

We really enjoyed. It had Thanksgiving dinner. Their kitchen was awesome. The view is beautiful. It was the best Thanksgiving we’ve had in a while!!

It was a perfect spot for my family and the reason for our stay. It is in a very rural area. Pet friendly. There are goats..which were awesome!

Perfect property and location for weekend event in Hagerstown, MD. Loved the house and it had everything we needed. The animals were fun and the host, Charlie, was very responsive and so nice to deal with. Definitely interested in visiting again!

Really loved the goats and horses! Came to the area for a swim meet and all the other families were jealous we found such a cool place to stay.Will be back!

Location perfect, peaceful and full of Surprises. Enough room for other family to come visit. We moved from the area years ago we were glad we came back Home. Charlie was a great host and easy to reach and answer your questions. The bathroom is on the lower level

Charlie was great to work with, he was very friendly and accommodating. He made sure we had everything we needed and even let me know about a potential WiFi outage in the area. We loved seeing the goats and horses everyday. Looking forward to staying again!

This was our 3rd time staying here for our ski trips to Whitetail. The kids love the animals and the house is cozy. Charles is always communicative and responds quickly for any minor issues. I’m sure we’ll be back again next year!

First, Charlie was a great host. He’s very communicative and will go out of his way to make you feel welcome.Second, the home itself is an old farm. Literally. It’s old and has that comfortable feel of a settled mountain ranch. It cozy. Third, the animals on the ranch are a bonus. Horses, goats, chickens. They’re all there. They’re friendly and the property is serene. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Will absolutely go back when I’m in the area.
