Cottage with stunning lake views

Our stay was absolutely great! We loved it here and can’t wait to come back. The cottage was vey clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated with an amazing view.Communication was quick and responsive. If you’re looking for a quiet, calm, peaceful retreat, you can’t go wrong with this place. And the beds were 10 out of 10!

Perfect location on a beautiful lake!

The cottage is wonderful. Beautiful views right on the lake, comfortable atmosphere. You can not go wrong whether you are sitting outside on the deck or enjoying the interior of the cottage itself. Just an incredible place to relax and unwind.

Clean and comfortable. Communication impeccable. Well maintained, felt right at home. Lake is beautiful. Few days away from the rat race and this was just the place. Everyone needs this in their life once in a while. Highly recommend.

Everything about this stay was lovely! Directions related to check-in and parking were clear and helpful. The cottage itself is unbelievably charming and quaint, and has everything you'll need for your stay. I especially loved the beautiful, wrap-around screened-in porch, where I spent the majority of my time - watching the adorable ducks and the many turtles! The lake was so peaceful and quiet - the perfect place to relax and recharge. The kayaks were only about 30 feet away from the cottage and were also a great way to spend the afternoon. I also visited the two wineries and two farm stores recommended - all of which were less than 15 minutes away. It was such a wonderful stay; I hope to visit again!

We had a very relaxing visit. The only disappointment was it is not a walkable area.There are no sidewalks, walking paths, or trails. After you leave the resort area you are walking along highways. Everything else was perfect for our quick getaway.

Very refreshing and peaceful place. It calmed us after a stressful week. Comfortable bed. Super clean. Gorgeous views. 10 out of 10! Will choose this cottage again without question.

We enjoyed our stay here in the Hearts Desire Cottage Everything you need is there even coffee and two ways to make it. The decor is tasteful and calming . The screened in porch is a large plus that includes a place to sit and eat or just enjoy the views. We enjoyed the fireplace and the little duck that followed us around and came to our window lol one time Turtle accompanied him! There is a slight earshot of the highway and the restaurant on the lake has a hum in it's exhaust system, but it wasn't too bothersome and went away when they closed. The other cottages are nearby and you can hear people sometimes or see them outside . This was fine with us. The fire pit was a plus, we just got our own wood and we had to buy a lighter . We left a quart of wood and the lighter for the next guest. the washer dryer is soo convenient. the Host was a doll see you guys in the fall! Highly recommend this cottage!
