We loved our stay with this property for multiple reasons. Lake Huron is so stunning and peaceful. You're not far from town which has cute shops and restaurants. The home was super welcoming and the Mitten hosts are very kind and attentive. Huge shout out to Fundamental Cleaning for their fantastic cleanliness and customer service as well!!!

Wonderful stay! Went with my daughter and her two sons, ages 4&9, and they had a blast. Garden cottage is located in the opening behind two cottages. Clear and easy access to the beach. I enjoyed my morning cup of coffee watching the sunrise over the lake on our patio.Cottage was well stocked with cooking utensils, dinnerware, bathroom linens including beach towels. Communications with the provider was only a text away and with a prompt response. For October in Michigan even the weather cooperated. FYI no iron or ironing board so we walked around happy and wrinkled. We will be back!!!

Yes kitchen was clean, well supplied. Living room needs more comfortable sitting. Beds were comfortable. We did not have beach front as our cottage was behind a larger cottage. Pet friendly as advertised.

This was a great property for a short girls weekend. However I would not want to stay with more than 2 adults for much longer than a long weekend. The house is VERY close to 23. Also, while the listing states there is AC- it is a window unit only in one bedroom. The AC until trips circuit breaker and I was asked by the property management to access the circuit box to resolve the issue. The home definitely needs new paint, and the bathroom needs attention. When I arrived the floors were very sandy and housekeeping had to come back to vacuum. The pictures are old and do not totally match the home currently. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The beach access was incredible and the views breathtaking.

The house was nice beds were comfy we thought it was more handicap accessible and we brought things that we would need but it was alittle difficult its only cause of our situation wife wanted the beach to look for rocks but we got there the day the beach had been cleaned so that was the down side all in all it was a nice place good time thanks

Floors were dusty upon arrival and it appeared the some sheets and blankets were not cleaned due to staining from prior guests. Also, the shower head is not properly bracketed to the wall and the grass had not been mowed. The pictures did not correspond to the actual living conditions. Also, the AC did not work during our stay.

The cabin needs paint and cleaning. The TV in the bedroom did not work, the ceiling fan in the living area made knocking noises, had to use the plunger on the toilet every time we flushed, the refrigerator every time it turned on made a noise like you turned on a hair dryer, the fridge was rusty, the stove had some sort of fungus grown on the bottom metal panel and the list goes on and on. I had a 70 lb. German Shepard dog from the neighboring cabin attack me and my dog. The Shepard busted through the full-length screen door knocking it out of its frame and came after me and my 15-pound Bichon. When I called the property manager, she told me the dog next door was a service dog and there was nothing she could do about it. A service dog is well trained and is calm around people and other animals. This was not a service dog but a renter wanting to take their dog with them on vacation regardless of the requirement for a dog. I had to send in a picture of my dog plus inform you that the dog was under the 30 lb. and was non shedding. If my dog of me would have been hurt, you would be dealing with a lawsuit. I guess what upset us the most is the manager was more concerned about asking the renters about this dog rather than showing concerns that we were attacked. By law you no one has to inform you about their health issues, but you can insist that if a renter claims their dog is a service dog ask for credentials showing training the dog has completed for service.

We had a wonderful time, and everything that we needed. The space was open concept which made it easy to enjoy ourselves together. But the bedroom spaces also offered privacy. We were. Delighted to connect with other people that were staying at the other cottages on the property. We will book there again I can’t wait till next summer
