Stayed Jul 28, 2025What a great place! We had immediate contact with the owner whenever we needed. The house was perfect for our family of 7. Beautiful location. The access to the lake made the week a big success. It's close to Oscoda amenities. It made our vacation to have the room to move and the charm of the whole place. Highly recommended.

Stayed May 17, 2025We truly enjoyed our stay at The Van Etten Lake Chalet! It has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay! The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms and living spaces are clean and spacious. Grab bars have been installed for safety and assistance if needed. The view of the channel is pretty. We chose this location for its proximity to some birding sites and to Lake Huron. The location is away from traffic but has easy access to main roads. Nice! The hosts are very responsive and they provided great instructions. We had a great experience here. Thank you!

Stayed Dec 27, 2024The house was located in a beautiful spot and everything was very clean. We loved the amount of space and the layout. Good food was minutes away.
