Cottage on Cypress Bay near Paris Landing State Park

Blue Heron Bay is a freshly renovated waterfront cottage located in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking Cypress Bay. This quaint cottage privately sits on a 1-acre lot and has stunning views of the water from the boat dock, porches, fire pit area, great room and bedrooms. This spacious 1600 sqft home has hardwood flooring throughout and has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, combined kitchen/living area and a utility room. The two-tiered dock has a gang way to the floating boat slip and sunbathing area. Brush fish attractors have been added along the shorelines adjacent to the dock.

The cottage is approximately 2.5 hours west of Nashville, 3 hours east of Memphis, and 20 miles south of Murray, KY. Blue Heron Bay is within minutes of Cypress Springs Resort Marina, which offers a boat ramp, overnight slip rentals by the day, boat/jet ski rentals, and a wonderful restaurant. Just 10 minutes away is Paris Landing State Park which has an 18-hole golf course, beach area, swimming pool and tennis courts. KY Lake is a short boat ride from Cypress Bay. The lake offers excellent fishing, swimming, and boating.

Blue Heron Bay is wonderfully decorated with three queen and one king beds. All bedrooms feature luxury mattresses and linens. TVs are provided in each bedroom. The kitchen has new stainless-steel appliances and features a gas stove. Bring your own spices and food…everything else is provided. The bar area seats six and there is extra table seating in the living area. The living area has vaulted ceilings with a grand rock fireplace with gas logs. Over the fireplace is a large smart TV. Plenty of seating with one sectional and one full couch.

Outside of the lower porch is a large fire pit with six Adirondack chairs for comfort and relaxation. Firewood is provided for our guests. The screened-in porch facing the water has two ceiling fans to keep air moving on warm sunny days. The bottom lower covered patio has a picnic area, and there are two large decks with abundant wrap-around seating. While sitting on one of the two covered porches, you can grill, dine, enjoy music, stargaze and simply relax!

We offer our guests free access to Wi-Fi, two kayaks and one paddle board. Please note that life jackets are not provided. There is also plenty of parking. You can bring your own boat! Come and relax at the Blue Heron Bay cottage and make lasting memories with your family and friends.

Please note the water levels fluctuate 5 feet annually. Normal summer elevation is 359 feet and is from around May 1 to August 31st. At this elevation, the water will be approximately 5 feet deep under the floating dock. At minimum winter elevation of 354 ft., the floating dock is sitting on land.For up to date water elevations, please refer to Tennessee Valley Authority's webpage (TVA).
