Stayed Feb 14, 2026This was our second time staying at the chalet and it works perfect for our eastern townships ski vacation! The amenities in the chalet are great, lots of places to sleep, and the rustic vibes are the exact match for what we want for a ski weekend.Can’t recommend enough!!

Stayed Mar 9, 2025We stayed at Genevieve’s house for a ski vacation at Mont Orford - it really is only 5 minutes from the hill. We had all facilities that we needed while there. This is a quaint, quirky century old home…there were sitting areas outside of each bedroom on top of the spacious living room, dining room and breakfast eating area. Genevieve was available for any questions or concerns without delay and was most accommodating. As stated by others the staircases are steep but there are now grippy pads on the stairs.

Stayed Feb 19, 2025We recently stayed at the cottage for a ski trip with our two teenagers and our dog. Genevieve is very responsive and helpful, we appreciated the timeliness of the communications. Kitchen is well-equipped and all appliances are updated (although we found some dishes in the cabinets dirty). As others commented, the house could use some updates. We found many plates and mugs with chips and there is only 1 shower (bathroom upstairs has a bathtub only). Some beds were more comfortable than others. The house is quirky but it is an old house so some of this is to be expected. Biggest concern was the main staircase - it is very slippery and steep, could be a hazard especially for small children and people with mobility issues. Overall I would say this property is perfect for large group of adults looking for simple lodgings near Mont Orford. We would be back if coming to the area again with our pup.
