We had a wonderful stay! The host made everything easy, was very responsive to messages/questions, and provided everything we needed and went above and beyond what we expected. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The home and property were both beautiful. Location was great, not far from activities, restaurants, and square, but also secluded enough to have some peaceful time away from others. My husband, kids, and I would all highly recommend!
Beautiful property, quiet and peaceful setting. Great host.
Everything was just as advertised. The cottage was clean and well kept, with a well stocked kitchen. Ruth is an attentive and accomodating host. Our favorite thing was rocking on the front porch every morning while drinking our coffee and watching the birds and the beautiful cows!
Very accommodating host. Great location and beautiful countryside. Much better than staying in a hotel! Well stocked kitchen with all the dishes and utensils needed for cooking.
This is the second time we have rented this home - but not the last. Everything is provided for a comfortable stay, and the host is very responsive.
Very much pleased and super nice owners!
This little house is beautifully decorated, with comfy beds. The kitchen has all we needed to bake birthday cakes and cookies (we did need to up the temperature to finish the cake). We especially enjoyed watching the dance of the swallows in the front yard as several birds were employed feeding the babies in the porch nest! Would love to come back again - in cooler weather!
Rental process was quick and easy. During our stay, Ruth checked in often. The property was secluded and peaceful. We enjoyed having coffee in the morning watching the cows grazing in the pastures. The cottage had all the comforts of home.
My husband and I were in Tennessee to help our son and his family with their move from California. It was wonderful to come home to the cottage after a day of unloading the Pods. Everything was there that we needed to be comfortable and relax. We hope to stay here again when we come to visit our family in Columbia. And the sourdough bread! And the magical fireflies! And of course the cows!
Ms. Ruth made my family and I feel so welcomed! Our stay at Armsdale Farm was perfect and the hospitality couldn’t have been any better. Can’t wait to visit again next year!! Thanks Ms. Ruth!
My husband, daughter, her boyfriend, and I came to Columbia, TN for our grandson's high school graduation activities and didn't want to spend five days in a hotel. Having enjoyed staying with VRBO on several other occasions, we were pleased to find Armsdale Farms for our visit. And it's just a mile down the road from our grandson's other grandparents! We could not have asked for a more lovely place to spend our time. From the comfy, vintage-feel home to the lovely front porch to the peaceful country surroundings to the cows (!) everything was just perfect. Each time we returned from an event it felt like coming home. Would definitely recommend Armsdale Farms to anyone traveling through the area and we certainly hope to stay there again on future visits to see our grandson. And (I hope!) Ruth has become a new friend!!
The cottage was perfect! It is very roomy and clean! Location was perfect for activities in Columbia or Spring Hill. Ruth was so nice and full of fascinating stories. The history of the Farm is impressive and it was very nice to wake up in the country with cows out in the pasture. I would stay here again and I will send all my family and friends here too!
