Cosy Home with Heated Pool

Excellent host! Every amenity you could imagine. Host left 6 pack of beer and apple crumb cake for us.

The house felt cozy, and the outdoor space and pool were lovely. This said, the house needs a good cleaning. The baseboards were dirty and very dusty. The corners around the furniture in the living room and bedrooms were very dusty. Further, the bathroom floors (tile) need a good clean. In the second bath, the tile grout was discolored and yellow around the toilet. Additionally, the kitchen utensils, cookware, and dishes were dirty. I had to wash everything I used (the first time I used an item). And, as a personal preference, I would have appreciated if the outdoor furniture (Adirondack chairs/patio table) would have been cleaned (wiped down to be free of dirt/debris) for our stay.

A little part of me wanted to leave a bad review here, in hopes of scaring people away, hopefully leaving it open for the next time we come back. But...i just can't do that. We cannot thank Kathleen enough for everything she did for us. The house was spotless! The neighborhood was extremely quiet. And so much more...If you have read other reviews, you have probably seen how great of a host Kathleen is. They are all 100% true. Not only did she have everything you would need at the house, but she also had creamer, beer, waters, homemade cake (and lots of kleenex... thanks Kathleen) all waiting for us when we got there. Such an amazing time! Can't wait to go back!

Wonderful getaway!

This was our 3rd visit to Dollys House, and it's still fantastic!

The house was very clean,wonderful location and it was stocked with everything we needed. I would love tore t it again!

Kathleen was amazing! There were fresh flowers, Homemade Blueberry Ginger bread and a bottle of wine on the kitchen table upon our arrival!!! Delicious Bread btw…Home is close to everything but still super quiet neighborhood. House was really well equipped. The only one thing that was a bummer was the pool was too cold to swim in however it was in the 50s at night.

This is a charming property with its own lovely pool and screened porch. Lots of privacy very restful. Very close to the river for long walks and close to dining and activities in New Smyrna.

Nice quiet location

We spent a bit more than a week in this wonderful house. The host Kathleen welcomed us with a delicious homemade pie, a bottle of sparkling wine and a huge bowl of candy for the kids. Although we arrived late, she welcomed us in person. The house is in a great shape, more than well equipped even with a beach wagon, beach chairs and much more. Pretty close to local beaches, Daytona and Cape Canaveral. Orlando theme parks are some 1,5 hours to drive. Full recommendation, we will book that house whenever we are in the area. Thanks Kathleen for your warm welcome and hospitality.

This is a lovely house, impeccably clean and very well maintained. The neighborhood is quiet. The pool is lovely and very private. Kathleen always adds personal touches specific to our likes. This was our 3rd time visiting and it was great. We will be back for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dolly’s house! The house was clean, had a great pool, and was well stocked with plenty of towels and other things to help us enjoy our stay. As someone who loves to cook the kitchen had everything you needed! Upon arriving we were surprised by a 6 pack of beer, creamer for the coffee and fresh muffins - such a nice touch! Kathleen was extremely helpful during our stay. We would love to come back again!
