Corowa, New South Wales
Coromandel on the Murray is a beautiful over 100 years old Red brick house with all the features of the time. It has all the mod cons you would expect, including reverse cycle air conditioning, but still has the old world charm , and also has a lovely rotunda with power and BBQ. A secure yard with an excellent garden and off street parking.
The RSL Club is only a short walk away where there is plenty of entertainment is available. The wineries of the region are a few minutes away and the Corowa Chocolate and Whiskey factory[enjoy a meal or snack] is only a few blocks away as is the main street of Corowa.
Enjoy a game of golf at the Corowa Golf Club's 27 hole course.
Bowls is available also.
Go fishing or boating on the Murray.
Beautiful unique property, beautiful host. Perfect for a family gathering Absolutely loved it!
We absolutely loved it. Very nice garden. Spent lost of the time outside. Will be back. Thanks kevin.
Large and well developed backyard, excellent for spending time as a family. Secure yard for pets. Large older home, clean and close to the RSL. 10 min walk to the Main Street. Friendly owner who came to say hello on our first day stay. Only negative would be the shower water pressure however on an older home might be expected.
House contained everything we needed. Weather was glorious so we spent most of our time outside in the lovely garden.
My second stay at this beautiful house and I still love it. Absolutely will be returning to this house when I’m next in Corowa.
Home away from home with old charm beauty. Bed was the best bed we ever slept in . Our cocker spaniels loved it gardens to explore and new things to sniff. Lemon and mandarin were fruiting and many flowers blossoming . House was private yard was secure and close to city centre. The guy street cafe is a short walk and them make good coffee and rolls etc. we want to stay there again and are planning this now
Absolutely charming property. Lovely garden, the dog loved it too. Will come again.
Loved my stay at this lovely house. We will definitely be staying there again when I’m back in Corowa.
The house and garden were perfect for our stay in the Rutherglan region. Our 2 x dogs were safe in the well fenced large garden and the house was spacious and we loved its old heritage feel. It was welllcoated and easy access to the regions wineries and other highlights
We enjoyed our stay - the home was amazing and took us back many years. Our dogs loved the big backyard to run around in. Great location and close to the main town and the whiskey and chocolate factory too. Thank you Kevin for your hospitality.
Excellent location and a wonderful experience of staying in a federation era house. So many have been renovated and you miss the true experience. Not so here, even the carpet is Axminster even though it has been updated. And the painted detail of the cornice in the lounge is amazing. We really enjoyed it.
Beautiful relaxing private garden and gazebo, comfy, homely feel, all amenities provided were greatly appreciated...even a potato masher :) Being able to bring my pooch along was a priority due to his medical conditions, so great to find a place that he was welcome and comfortable too (ps a doggie door would make it perfect though) Thank you for a lovely memorable stay!
All the little amenities provided were appreciated and we enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden very much Thank you!
House reminded me of my grandma's place. Large open rooms, huge beds and lots of decor to suit the house.
A lovely Edwardian house full of furniture and ornaments from the time. Very clean, comfy bed and everything you might need. We had a lovely stay
A blast from the past. Very spacious inside and outside in a lovely garden. Very enjoyable .
Blast from a past. Very nice example of bygone days.
A fantastic period home that you don’t often get a chance to stay in. Beautiful gardens. Great location. Close to everything in Corowa. Kevin was a delightful host. Karen and Stuart
Very good
We only stayed a few days but we wished it was longer! The garden is delightful, stunning flowers, & lovely lawn for the dogs & for walking & lying on. The house is unusual, almost a living museum, but we were glad for the high ceilings and air con that kept us cool in the hot Corowa summer.
Wonderful host, wonderful property and wonderful town. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your property. We had a beautiful time. I wish we didn’t have to leave & go home.
Beautiful period home with everything you need for a joyful getaway.
Fantastic
Our stay was enjoyable. House makes you feel like you are in the past but at the same time is well appointed. Beautiful garden too.
This charming old world property was perfect for our four day stay. We checked in on a chilly autumn day to find Kevin , our host , had already turned on the heating. A nice touch. The home was spotless and very well stocked. The bed was sooo comfortable and snug , the lounge cosy and warm & centrepiece of the kitchen was an original Kelvinator refrigerator. A real trip down memory lane , as were other lots of other curios throughout the home. The backyard was a lovely sun catch and just perfect for our young dog. Would love to stay again.....
