Hook, Wine, and Stinkers is the ultimate vacation spot in the much sought-after community of Corolla Light. This home leaves little doubt why some Corolla vacationers ONLY stay in Corolla. What's not to love Maybe it is the short walk (no car needed) to some of the very best restaurants on the Northern Beaches. Perhaps it is because you can walk to the coffee shop or maybe head over to play a round of miniature golf or even the ice cream shop without ever getting in a car! Guests of CorollaLight rave about the resort pools and beach accesses throughout the large community. Corolla Light can be considered a cruise ship on land, boasting the second-largest fitness facility on the Outer Banks and numerous community activities in the summer. This gorgeous home checks all of the boxes for the perfect summer vacation! The closest beach access to Hook, Wine, and Stinkers is roughly 1300 ft (a quick walk). Trolley service is available June-August, weather permitting.

The Lower Level of the home offers up a large game room w/wet bar, mini fridge, and pool table. Additionally, in the game room, there is a large smart TV and plenty of seating for movie/game nights. If you head outside from the game room, you will find the private, covered outside shower and grilling space. This area gives way to the heated (w/fee) pool and new hot tub. Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, there is less through traffic than on the main roads in Corolla Light. NEW FOR 2025 - Second refrigerator located on the ground level (near the pool).

Whether it's spending the day climbing up the Currituck Light House, visiting the historic Whalehead Club, mastering Corolla's Adventure Park, relaxing by the private pool, or spending the day in the sand, Hook, Wine, and Stinkers has you covered! Take the trolley or walk the short distance to wide and clean beaches with a gradual drop-off that creates expansive areas for safe and fun ocean recreation. Oftentimes referred to as a Cruiseship on Land, Corolla Light is more than just a community, offering activities for the whole family including 10 tennis courts and the second-largest fitness center on the Outer Banks. Numerous nearby attractions provide plenty more to do, including shopping, dining, and historical sights, there’s an adventure in every direction right outside the door.

    The cottage was beautiful however,the decks and the deck around the pool were very dirty and the kitchen could use a few more supplies. My family loves to cook, and there wasn’t a can opener or larger pots for cooking crabs. Did not get our souvenir bag ?

Great location, short walk to the beach. Loved having the pool to cool off in after a beach day. Walk to breakfast and mini golf. We can't say enough about this place. We had maintenance come out to look at the outlets by the pool, and it was only a flipped breaker. They were quick and reliable though! Clean, uncluttered, great place to gather. Our only suggestions would be to list more of what is available in the kitchen. We are planners and that would be super helpful so we wouldn't have taken as much. And also the furniture on the mid level deck is flaking paint. We had two more people that didn't fit at the dining room table, which was a bummer, but we made it work with the island. We hope to be back!!!

    We had a great stay in Corolla. There were 6 adults and one child. Plenty of room and ability for some privacy with the bedroom suites. We had enough room to eat together. Having the pool was awesome. The location cannot be any better! Walk right out the back yard to restaurants, shops and putt putt. The trolley was right there as well although it was a short walk to the beach and community pools. Would stay here again and had enough room for even a few more family members.
