This was a great home base for our family as we stayed in Muskegon for a week. It’s in a great location and is very quiet. Everything we needed was there, including a Pack n Play and high chair for the little one. Our two doggos loved it as well! ? Plenty of room in the fenced in yard for them to roam and run around. We never got a chance to use the fire pit unfortunately but there was a starter bundle of wood there already if we did end up using it. Lastly, the host is very responsive to messages.
This was our first time staying in Muskegon. We loved that it wasn't super touristy, but minutes away from a great beach, boat launch, drive-in, and dog beach. The fenced in yard was a bonus for our furry child. Our only concern was the window above the kitchen sink was unlocked (figured it out when we set of the smoke alarm making bacon) and the garage side door was unlocked (figured it out when dropping off garbage and realized there was a door near there and just tried it). We locked both of them when we left but did kind of freaked us out. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we were able to make large breakfast meals every morning. It was nice that with only one shower we were able to all have hot showers. The washer and dryer were clean (not always the case in rental places). We loved the cute balcony upstairs and the patio out back. We ate most of our meals outside on the patio. The beds were comfy, and we all felt like we had space to move around, and either be a large group or quiet time alone. We liked that there were enough chairs in the backyard to enjoy the fire pit or just eat at the table. Everyone in our group gave it a double thumbs up!
