Coolwater Comfort ~ on the White River

The best part about this property was the setting. Quiet, tranquil, close to town but not in town. The patio overlooking the river was gorgeous. Level access. Really nice firepit area but there was a burn ban in the area and it was pretty warm so we didn't use it. Super comfy bed. We didn't use the second bedroom. Low traffic area for walking pets. We went in the off season so it might get busier in the area with lots of short term rentals all around. The train going through woke me up. It's right across the road. It went through before 10 and only one night we were there and then the next day it was during the day. It wasn't a super fast or long train and I actually enjoyed watching it go through. The river is beautiful. Coffee on the patio overlooking the water is a must for summer. A couple fishing boats went by while we were there. I brought food to cook while we were there so I did make a suggestion to add a few kitchen items like foil, plastic wrap and cooking spray but we did without just fine. The recliners were at the end of life and a little rickety and hard to get out of. The property was clean, well maintained and I absolutely would recommend it AND hope to go back again. I can't see any reason a guest would regret staying here. Great communication from management. Very friendly, responsive and professional. I was most appreciative of being able to bring our dogs. THANK YOU!!!

What’s not to love about this property? You have a gorgeous view of the White river from the back patio, cozy fireplace, surrounded by the most lovely and peaceful neighborhood. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. Everything was provided that we needed during our stay. We look forward to our return!

My family and I LOVED this cozy little cabin- outdoor space was perfect, firepit with stocked wood was amazing, cabin was clean and nice and beds were comfy. Neighbors were kind as well! We all enjoyed the time away. We will be back!

Lovely little home - very comfortable & easy to settle into.We really enjoyed the deck for morning coffee, lunches & again for cocktails with the setting sun. Quite romantic.The fireplace wb wonderful furing the colder months - but the AC was more to our liking in mid-September.Mountain View is a great little town with great shopping & the best ice-cream ever All of the amenities you need minutes from town.

This is an amazing property. We had the best time with our dogs. Everything from sitting by the river to going to dinner in town was magical.

Bigger than it looks from road, accurate on line. The deck is the best. Could be quieter at times.

The cabin location is beautiful. We enjoyed the beautiful view and peacefulness. It is difficult to get up and down to the water from the cabin but we still made the trek and got to laugh at each other in the process. The only complaint we have is that the master bedroom mattress is very uncomfortable and did not make for a good nights sleep.

This cabin provided the perfect retreat for our family post Christmas. The river view was beautiful and location in proximity to Mirror Lake/Blanchard Falls as well as Mountain View was perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at this cozy cabin in a quiet area in Mountain View on the beautiful White River. The property managers were friendly, and quick to send trustworthy help when the pilot light went out in the fireplace. The neighbors were so kind and generous bringing by hot cocoa, extra fire starters, and chopping smaller pieces of fire wood for our fire pit evenings. The restaurants and shops in town were perfect, as were the outdoor activities located near by which included Blanchard Springs Waterfall and trail, Mirror Lake and waterfall, Gunner Pool trail along the creek and cliffs, and Calico Rock Overlook Point. We had a wonderful stay, have already shared pictures and recommendations with our friends and family, and hope to return for another visit!

This is our third stay here and we love it.

I can’t say enough good things! My family did NOT want to leave. The place is just gorgeous and all the people are so friendly! We will be back!

Me and my husband was looking for a get away from it all and just enjoy some peace and quiet- we were very much pleased with this beautiful place.

Perfect place for us to stay! My 3 year old said it was a “cute” house! It was so nice and clean! We loved being right on the River!

Very comfortable for family of 6. Great location and view. So many interesting things to do in the area. The full moon over the river with fog rising was stunning. Loved the outdoor lighting and seating area. OHHH if it just had 2 bathrooms, lol. And trackers on those remote controls, which my kids kept loosing. Would have been nice to have a tv in master bedroom at night time. But overall it was PERFECT.

Nice and clean Only issue I found was the rocks going to the deck where sinking and was a trip hazard

Was the best place to stay!

I enjoyed my stay at this cabin. Fully stocked kitchen, spacious, quiet neighborhood. Directions were easy to follow. Cabin was close to local attractions. My only issue was the thermostat would not stay at a desired temperature the last night I stayed. The cabin temperature would return to 77° a short time after adjusting the thermostat lower and the cabin was uncomfortable to sleep. Had I been staying one more night, I would have reached out to IvyVacations. Overall, the stay was pleasant.

Awesome stay and management was great! They even came out to jump start our car.

Came into town for a lazy weekend. Enjoyed napping in the king size bed and listening to the river and song birds by the Firepit.

Property was adorable. Decorated so nice! Great deck to watch the river roll by. Peaceful area. In a great location for seeing Blanchard Springs and Mountain View. King size bed is very firm. Great places to dine are pretty close.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay!! Perfect for our family of four and 2 furbabies. The cabin is located in a quiet retirement community right on the White River. The location was perfect! The house was very clean and was stocked well with all the essentials. Communication was excellent with the host. We enjoyed all of the outdoor space on the deck overlooking the White River and the firepit. We will for sure be back! One thing to note is that the property is located close to a train and you can hear it go by a couple times late in the evenings.

This property was ideal for what we needed. We travel with our dog and the house and property had ample space for her to roam around (under supervision). Covered parking was available. Close to Mountain View to go into town and eat/listen to music and still make it back before too dark. We spent a lot of time in the Blanchard Springs Rec area. The drive there and back was not bad. Very peaceful place to come back to and relax after hiking, fishing, shopping.

Very spacious living area with plenty of room for those rainy days and nights to hangout play games
