Cool Water Shores is a luxury vacation home located on Lake Gogebic's beautiful west shore. Centrally located in the Michigan's western UP; a place of true peace and serenity. A number of bald eagles often visit our tall cedars along the lake during summer, and herds of deer can be seen nearly every day using our woods as their path to the lake.
Take in all of this from our large deck and 3,500 square feet of comfortable, modern living space, or enjoy it outdoors around a campfire.

Stayed Jun 9, 2026We had a wonderful time here, it was spacious and perfectly set up for our family. The view of the lake is beautiful, the fishing is great, and the kids had a blast with the game room downstairs. We enjoyed it so much that we're planning to make this a yearly vacation!

Stayed Jun 6, 2026The home offers a great view of Lake Gogebic. Plenty of sleeping space for our party of 10. The beds were comfortable. Having 3 bathrooms was a perk as well. The home was dirtier than we like but it sounds like a new cleaning service just started. I'm sure the host will be in contact with the cleaning service to have the issues corrected. The host was quick to respond to our questions and concerns. They also refunded us (without being asked) for the cleanliness not being up to par. We will be back again next year.

Stayed Jun 7, 2025I have stayed at several VRBO Homes and this one is by far the best. It was clean, well stocked with everything one could need and is a great place to unwind and relax. Many times when you look at a potential property the pictures lie and the place is not as advertised. What you see in the pictures is what the house looks like. Amazing!
