Cool Off with Private Pool! 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom. Sleep 12

Beware! Upon check in we immediately noticed a musty smell. Many surfaces in home were dusty and had been not cleaned. The home had water damage in the master bathroom with wood paneling coming off the wall and we found curtains with numerous large stains and broken loose tiles in the dining room. The downstairs bedroom smelled of water damage and had wood paneling coming off the wall. We found dead bugs in the showers and sinks. The refrigerator was dirty. We found droppings in the kitchen cupboard and opening drawers we found a cooked piece of bacon from previous renter. Turning on sink we had air and sediment from the faucet and a sulfur or spoiled egg smell from the water. We checked the other sinks and showers, and it was the same smell coming from each location. We let the water run for 30 minutes trying to clear the smell of musty water. We could stand to be in the bathrooms with the water running much less try to shower in this condition. We informed property manager. They told us to flush the water and it would help, I told them we had and it had not changed. They offered to move us to another location for the night to fix the issue. Spring break had no other option available Day 2: The next day we were told the house had been cleaned and the water situation had been corrected. We walked in and the water issue was fixed, but the cleanliness was not. We called the manager back and they had to clean the kitchen for almost 4 hours till the cleanliness was finally passable. The downs stairs bedroom we decided not to use at all for guests since the musty smell was still very strong. We were told the shutters were stuck shut for many of the windows. The Pool: The fence around the pool is leaning heavily in some places. The pool patio is worn and old and we had several issues with children getting splinters in their feet. The pool furniture is very rusted and there were no reclining lounge chairs as pictured on the site. The BBQ pit was full of ash that had to be emptied before we could use. The pool slide handrail was broken and completely missing on one side and when we arrived the slide was covered in spiderwebs and bird poop and looked like it had not been cleaned in some time. The pool water was clean but the pool surface could use a real good deep cleaning. Later in our trip we noticed on the front door frame to the outside as there is separation between the floor and the wall you can see thru. Not Happy

This location has been a great spot for large friend and family gatherings. The pool is clean and there are plenty of rooms for everyone.
