Conveniently Located just off University Avenue on Madison's West Side

Rented this property to allow family to stay together for a wedding. It worked perfectly. Plenty of private and community space. Access to a full kitchen. Wonderful outside spaces. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Very smooth booking and everything was well stocked, including items like soap and laundry pods that many places do not always provide. We would love to come back!

This charming old home was amazing! Beautiful antiques and private property with a lot of trees. Well stocked with essentials. Owner is very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Nice space for family to gather

We enjoyed our stay at Richard’s place with our group. The location was close enough to the university, but in a quiet area with a lot of privacy. The listing was accurate and clean. We highly recommend this stay for anybody traveling to Madison with a large group

The house was great! Roomy enough for everyone to spread out. The house had everything we needed to prep for the various events for my son's wedding. The property was on a beautiful lotand the neighborhood was very quiet. Richard was very responsive when we accidentally tripped the circuit breaker. Would definitely stay again.

I can’t say enough great things about the owner and the house. Richard had everything stocked up and didn’t have to worry about everything. We all had an amazing time and would definitely stay there again.

Great accommodations

This vacation rental was perfect for our family visit to Madison. The 6 bedrooms easily accommodated our group. The setting is perfect, with easy access to the university, the Capitol and the lakes. The secluded wooded property makes you feel like you’re in rural Wisconsin, although it is situated in the city. There is abundant wildlife, including herons, turkeys and deer. The home makes you feel as if it is a family dwelling with its’s comfortable furnishings, games and beautifully stocked kitchen. I recommend it highly for a large family or group!

House is spacious and situated on a huge lot. Perfect for our family reunion. Lots of welcoming touches in the home.

We had a group of 5 and this worked out great. Beds were decently comfy. Utilized the fire pit which was a bonus.

We had a delightful stay in Madison. The home was wonderfully quirky. The yard was huge; my corgi loved his walks outside! Geese, turkeys, rabbits, and squirrels visited. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere, great art, living and dining area for times together, and different spaces for when we had to work. The home was 4 minutes from Whole Foods. And an easy drive to the university, botanical gardens, and amazing restaurants.

This house is located close to a Main Street heading to campus but was set back in the woods and very quiet. The house was clean and spacious. We didn’t have an opportunity to cook or hang out much but I would recommend this house.

Had a family member in the hospital and had to find something spacious for all of us. Richard was a great host and very accommodating. His place is conveniently located near the hospital and was well stocked for our large group.

We were here for the PSU- Wisconsin game and the house worked great. Maybe just a new shower curtain liner in the upstairs bathroom 😁

This house was great! Spacious, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, plentiful spaces for hanging out and conversing/playing games/watching TV, plenty of towels, beautiful yard and patios/decks, nice Solo Stove outside for an evening fire. Great location, short walk to the lake and playgrounds. Richard was responsive to questions. For our next family gathering, we will likely try to book this place again.

This home was perfect for our group of 7 visiting for a Wisconsin football game! Plenty of room exists inside of the home allowing for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. However, the best part of the home is the ample outdoor seating area that allowed for great conversation from within our group. You will not be disappointed stay in this home!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property! As before very clean, plenty of amenities towels, kitchen tools etc. Lots of space to spread out. I love the peaceful wooded lot! It is SO easy to drive back and forth to the Ironman Wisconsin triathlon course, close to downtown and the run turn around on the Howard Temin path. Is also very close to restaurants and grocery stores. Definitely would stay again!

My extended family and I had a beautiful stay for a family reunion. the house is spacious and has everything you need to enjoy a trip to Madison. Would highly recommend to anyone and especially large groups with kids!
