Great place for what we were in the area for. Comfortable and plenty of room - loved the kitchen (maybe more cookware but not a deal breaker at all). Would definitely use it again.....loved the cool mornings.
My son lives in Burien. This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Orange Door with my daughter and her partner so four adults. We like because it is clean, has lovely bedding, 2 bathrooms, a beautifully stocked kitchen and takes dogs. The owners are responsive to any concern one might have. If you need a place in Burien the Orange Door is a comfortable stop.
Was clean, a perfect layout for two couples.
Stayed here for 4 nights while visiting family in Burien. Overall, a great stay. Owners on site if needed but never ran into them. Very clean! The only drawback was as Julie stated in a previous review, the living room furniture looks quite warn and needs replacement; it wasn't very comfortable. It would be nice if there was a small kitchen table/bar table with chairs for eating at as there is no seating in the kitchen/living room area other than the living room. The beds, however, were FANTASTIC. Probably the best beds and pillows we've come across in all our VRBO stays! Would consider again if in the area.
Very clean and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.
The guest house is a quiet peaceful oasis in the middle of all the activity that is Seattle.
Burien has a wonderful food scene that is fairly new and needed. The town itself has cleaned up and undergone a rebranding compared to when I lived here in the 70s. This place is comfotrtable and all needs were met, got friendly, and host was very helpful. I would stay here again should I return
This apartment was very accurately portrayed. Layout seemed a bit odd but worked very well for masking noise between the living room and the bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable for me and the pillows too. I'm picky about my pillows and didn't end up bringing mine from home. It was a great place for us to stay with our newborn while we had some work done on our place. The neighborhood is nice, you can walk to water views, the Bean coffee stand and downtown Burien. Trader Joes and PCC were a 5 minute drive. The homeowners were also very responsive and had friendly puppers that got along well with my dog. Overall it was a great home away from home.
Lovely retreat. Couches need replacing but otherwise a 5 star rental.
Great place to stay, very comfortable.
overall excellent. We were treated very well, and would use again and would recommend to others.
