The Wooden house was amazing! It looked just like the pictures and it was a treat to stay there. They had every amenity you could need to make your stay comfortable.

The Wooden House review:We had such a wonderful stay at The Wooden House just two doors down from our family. The house has a fascinating history — once a garage, then an office, a studio, and now a warm, inviting VRBO that truly feels like a home away from home. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the hosts have truly thought of everything to make the stay comfortable - whether for a short weekend or a longer visit. The space is well-organized, clean, and full of charm, with retro décor, interesting artwork, and handmade wood furniture crafted by the owner. Every detail feels intentional and welcoming. We probably took way too many pictures of the place - inside and out — but there were just so many interesting details to capture! Each corner seems to have a story. The house is full of character without feeling cluttered. We couldn't stop exploring all the little artistic touches throughout - and we’re pretty sure we still didn't catch everything.We especially loved the front porch with its hammock, lounge chairs, and even a sauna - such a special touch!Danielle and Derek are great hosts, and their dog Vera was the sweetest greeter. We're honestly sad to leave - thank you for creating such a thoughtful and memorable space!

Great location close to mountain biking, Hyde Park coffee/bars/restaurants, downtown, and the North End family and friends we came to visit. This guesthouse is quiet, charming, well-appointed and comes with a visit from Vera, the sweetest pup in the neighborhood. Highly recommend if you're looking for a private oasis in the heart of the North End.

We had an amazing time staying at The Wooden House! Derek and Danielle were excellent hosts, and they have done an outstanding job designing each aspect of this home including each room, furniture, decor, etc. Our favorite design element was the skylight window with a fantastic view of their pine tree. Also, the neighborhood was super nice and a close walk to several great restaurants on 13th street that had us covered at any time for any meal. We’d definitely recommend staying here, and look forward to our next visit!

The Wooden House was perfect. Sparkeling clean, whimsical and comfortable. The hosts have thought of every detail and had excellent communication. The location allowed us to walk to restaurants, cute coffee shops, ect. while in a quiet neighborhood. We'll bring our bikes next time. We hope to stay again.

Loved our short stay at this guesthouse. Location was perfect for us, beautiful neighborhood and close to hikes, downtown and boise river. The place is very nicely setup and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Bed was great and everything worked well. We had no issues. Hosts were helpful and always quick to respond as well.

We loved our stay! The attention to detail was amazing — we especially enjoyed listening to old cassettes on the vintage boom box. It was a perfect place for remote work; both my husband and I worked comfortably during our stay. The bed was very comfortable, everything was clean and well-appointed, and the sauna (which we used twice!) was definitely a highlight. The location was excellent, with easy access to 13th Street, coffee shops, pubs, and downtown Boise. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful property and hosts. They greeted us, very welcoming. Especially there dog. Definitely need to come back here again for a quick get away! Also the sauna was lovely!

The property is beautiful and it was a delight to stay here. It was well designed and appointed nicely. Danielle, Derek and Veera were great hosts. It was quiet and felt like a little oasis in the middle of Boise. We loved the Sauna and the Atlas Cedar they provided a great deal of comfort.

Comfortable log cabin tucked in an alley in a wonderful neighborhood. The cabin has great amenities. Owners decorated with eclectic detail. Short walking distance to Hyde Park 13th Street Shops. Awesome first time visit to Idaho!

We loved all the attention to detail and comfort. The bed, pillows and blankets are so comfortable. We were able to sleep well. The skylight above the bed was an added bonus. We also appreciated the extras (cold drinks in the fridge, beautiful coffee table, and the hammock swing for relaxing). We didn’t have time for the sauna but it looked wonderful.. The location is in a beautiful neighborhood and very private. It is a short pleasant walk to Hyde park with excellent restaurants, brewery, coffee shops and bakery. Also the hosts are very welcoming and helpful.

21st St. is part of the 'sweet spot' of Boise's North End, and close to parks, grocery stores, restaurants, and Hyde Park. As a family of artists, craftspeople, and builders, we took a tour of the cabin. We were all impressed! The personal touches Derek and Danielle have added to the cabin make a wonderful place to visit Boise!

The property is EXACTLY as described and seen in the pictures. It's super cute and easy to navigate. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Very nice space and homey feel

Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, great location. We were able to walk to Hyde Park every morning to get coffee and breakfast sandwiches and Uber rides to downtown and other points of interest were short and reasonably priced. The sauna is a great additional amenity.
