We had a great stay in Oceanside - the property is is 2 blocks from the ocean, and walkable to restaurants and coffee shops. The kitchen and laundry was so handy and everything was clean. The pull out sofa bed was the only downside in our stay - we found out too late that upon request a cot could have been brought in and we wish we had done that instead. But that said, we will likely book again next year!!

This place was very clean and comfortable. The location was great for walking to restaurants and along the beach. We loved The Cup for our morning lattes. Laney responded quickly to our questions

The price is reasonable for my family of three. Also, the place is clean, roomy, and nicely-furnished with a well-stocked kitchen. However, some of the linens like pillowcases for the sofa bed may have been missing. There were plenty of towels though, so we made do with draping them around the pillow for my daughter.

This was a great place to stay in Oceanside. It is one street over from the beach and a quick walk to the peer. The property was very clean. I will definitely be staying here again.

The unit was super clean and simply decorated. Furnishings are baby/toddler friendly. The unit had mostly everything we needed for our two-week stay. It’s in a great location as well. The host was very communicative and quickly to respond to inquiries.

The host communicated with us and the property was perfect for our stay. Out pets were welcome and enjoyed their stay as well.

2 blocks from beach and short walk to downtown Oceanside (nice selection of restaurants, bars, and entertainment). We took the whale watching tour and saw a pod of dolphins. Harbor has fire rings and the start of a nice bike trail going inland. House has everything you need. Grocery stores are a short drive away. Good location to visit Carlsbad.

Myers Beach House #B was very clean and comfortable.

We would not recommend booking this property again.The cleaning crew misrepresented the condition of the condominium upon our departure. The owner informed me that there was animal hair on the furniture, but I was not provided with photographs to support this claim. I was aware that this was a falsehood.As a meticulous and clean individual, I thoroughly cleaned the entire unit during my four-day stay. I even provided photographs to the owner, which clearly showed that there was no animal hair left on the window seating. Furthermore, we utilized the only couch in the unit as a pull-out bed for my teenage son from the moment we arrived, as it was immediately converted into a bed. The two couch cushions were stored in the bedroom closet throughout our entire stay.I was aware that the cleaning crew had exaggerated the time they spent cleaning and that there was no animal hair left on the furniture, as the couch was used as a bed and the cushions were stored away. However, how is this possible?I would not recommend booking this property again due to the untrustworthy cleaning crew and the lack of evidence to support their claim that there was animal hair on the window seat, which I had my own photographs to prove. This place was initially a wonderful place to stay, but the ending was super disappointing. We won’t be booking here again because they took an additional deposit for cleaning that didn’t happen and there’s no proof.

Unit was clean, nicely furnished with comfortable queen size bed and linens. We like to prepare most of our own meals and would have appreciated better pots/pans and sufficent flatware. With two occupied units above us noise was not a factor. Our pet especiallly enjoyed her morning and evening walks in the lovely residential area and alongside the ocean. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Easy check-in with quick responses to any questions. The staff was helpful, and the location was excellent—there’s a great little market and coffee shop right on the corner, along with many other places within walking distance. The open floor plan made the kitchen, dining, and sitting areas feel spacious.The only downside was the noisy upstairs guests. They stomped up the stairs at 1:30 a.m. and walked heavily around their unit. It often sounded like doors were being slammed or items dropped, which was especially noticeable in the downstairs unit. Since it’s common in Oceanside to leave windows open at night to enjoy the cool breeze, the noise from upstairs was even more disruptive.

Cottage was nice and updated. Beach is rocky and the strand beach is like cement. Cottage had no privacy. Patio was shared by 3 other cottages so people were always outside our door bbqing and sitting in front of our door.

Perfect location!! We truly loved it.

The bungalow is adorable and were thankful that it was spacious, had a full kitchen and laundry. The beach closest to the bungalow is not really usable but beautiful. Just plan to walk 10-15 minutes or attempt parking downtown. I would definitely stay here again, it was very nice.

Great time! Walked absolutely everywhere. Lots to do and close to the train station. A bottom floor condo with neighbors above.Be prepared for foot noise. Didn’t bother us since we were enjoying Oceanside all day.

Laney has worked hard to make a wonderful place to stay. She is an extremely responsive host, responding quickly to our requests.Shannon the housekeeper is great, extremely friendly and the unit was spotless.The neighborhood is perfect. There really is no beach here, more like large rocks but a great place to watch sunset. However a quick quarter mile walk takes you to a sandy beach, and the bustling waterfront pier and hotels with restaurants.We stayed in the downstairs unit for 6 days. It is extremely spacious and furnished with many thoughtful items.The furnishings and lighting are adequate and the bed is extremely comfortable. One concern has to be the two units above. During our stay there were two families, a total of 12 people above us. A family of four and another family of four who had four other people coming regularly. With loud parties and music it was quite a noisy environment, but only in the evenings, and I will say the one time we had to complain because it went on after 10:00 p.m. Laney was VERY responsive and shut it down in minutes.Another consideration is that the small but nice courtyard is shared and if anyone from upstairs is barbecuing or dining they are right outside your living room window. Myers Beach House is a wonderful place to spend a short vacation.

This vrbo lived up to all of our expectations and then some. Immaculate. Light and cheerful. Fully stocked. Just a block to tje beach. Quiet. Host wonderful to work with. We cant wait to stay again. Truly became a home for a week. CAN

Our stay was wonderful. We walked to the beach every day. The sunsets were amazing. There were lots of choices for coffee and food a short walk away. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I really appreciated having a dresser for holding our clothes. Laney was really prompt in responding and very kind.

I recently had to evacuate LA due to the fire so I scrambled for a place to stay. I was able to book this terrific apartment the same day and they were very accommodating. The location is perfect, quiet and safe! Just one block to the beach so I was able to go and see the sunset every night. Definitely recommend!!

This bungalow has everything and it's just the right size! Very comfortable, easy parking, quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to the beach and town. Highly recommend.
