Completely Remodeled Mid-Century Modern Home On West Bay Shore Dr.

The house and property are great and very well outfitted. The back yard is lovely, and has fire pit as well as a laundry drying rack, which comes in handy. There is beach access across the street and the location is convenient to get into town or to head out to Sleeping Bear. It is on a busy road but is set back a bit and the windows do a good job of muffling the traffic sound. It’s a wonderful place and the owners have put a lot of thought and care into renovating the house and making sure it’s comfortable for guests.

Tammy’s place was great. We had an awesome stay. We stayed in the winter time and saw deer on the back hill. The house was warm and inviting. Highly recommend!

This is our third time staying in Tammy’s home and it was just as great this time. She has thoughtfully stocked the house with everything you could need for your time in TC. She always messages a few days before check in to see if we need the rollaway bed or anything else to make our stay comfortable. Her attention details and caring nature has brought us back time and time again. Book a stay here in any season, and you’ll be glad you did.

Our entire experience was fantastic. Our host, Tammy was personable and communicative. The location was perfect - set between Suttons Bay and TC we had all the options for food, drinks, entertainment and shopping. The home was clean, bright, comfortable and gorgeous. The outdoor setting with private backyard was inviting - even in late November. We also enjoyed the lake access across the street. Not only did it make for a beautiful view from inside the home but also allowed for some fun exploration during the day. Our group of 4 truly loved this rental. Thank you for sharing it with us!

We loved our stay here! It's in a prime location, has a gorgeous backyard, and is steps away from the bay! The bedrooms were great with lots of closet storage space, charging ports at each night stand, plus extra blankets if needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. We would love to stay here again!

awesome house great location

The place was exactly as pictured and loved the way it was decorated! It was just enough space for my husband, me, and his mom. The beds were very comfortable, and the linens were super nice. I loved sitting on the couch and watching the bay across the street. Also, easy access to a small park across the street. We didn't get to enjoy the backyard, but having the fire pit set up and ready for us was a nice touch. We also enjoyed having access to the garage, especially since it was raining for most of our trip. I would definitely stay here again.

The stay was perfection!!! Tammy has done an unbelievable job with renovations and making this a beautiful home!!! We have stayed at her other home and it is just as beautiful. It is very obvious she is a top notch host and wants to ensure your stay is perfect. The home was very clean and had everything we needed!! The backyard is huge and a great place to hang out. The views from the front are amazing!! The beach access is right across the road. Communication with Tammy was super easy.There is not a single thing I would change - it was perfect!! Great location, clean and comfortable.

The entire week, from start to finish, was as perfect as it gets. Check in, sleeping arrangements, kitchen, amenities, even the weather cooperated on this trip. Much shopping, eating and drinking done on this trip. Wonderful!

Great place to stay, highly recommend

We’ve stayed here once before in the winter and loved it and this time was even better. Tammy has thought of everything and made our stay so comfortable. We will be back again for sure. Also, the road side park across the street had a cute little beach where we were able to launch our SUP. Book a stay here, you won’t regret it!

The property is gorgeous with a true mid century vibe. It’s in a great location with amazing views of the bay. The home was very well stocked and would be a great place for families to stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights. It was perfect for our family of 4. We loved how the home was styled and there were many nice touches throughout. The home was well stocked with the essentials which is always helpful and never guaranteed in a VRBO. There was a bottle of champagne chilling for us when we arrived which was so nice, as was the stocked firewood for a bonfire which we did two nights. Nice updated appliances and home, large garage which had some beach toys and chairs available for use. The location was great - just far away enough from downtown, and we easily toured both peninsulas. The beach area across the street was great for the kids to play and swim after a busy day. Good communication from the host. Would definitely recommend, and stay here again!

We loved our stay here. The house is thoughtfully decorated and so beautiful! The location was perfect for hitting all of the Leelanau wineries and was a short drive to Traverse City. We would definitely stay again!

I stayed here with my husband for our honeymoon, Tammy was extremely quick to respond and helpful. The home was spacious and clean, very well stocked with anything you can think of. It was just perfect for what we needed! Tammy had left us some nice goodies in the fridge as a honeymoon gift as well which was incredibly sweet of her, we would definitely stay at Tammy’s property again.

This place was awesome. The host made everything easy. Far enough away from the hub bub to get some quiet, but close enough to everything to make it convenient. The place was clean, check-in was easy, and host was available for emergencies, if needed (we didn't). Really good experience!

What a wonderful house. Decorated very fun and comfortably. It is obvious that the hosts care if you have a nice time. They went above and beyond to provide extra, such as built us a bonfire and left us a bottle of wine and plenty of paper products. There iis a beautiful view of tve lake from the front of the house and a private and lovely outdoor space complete with bonfire! We would absolutely come back!

Nicely remodeled small home that is surprising spacious inside. Everything was as shown in the listing, and all the furniture and linens were of good quality. Lovely backyard, plus a small beach just across M22. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Convenient location for both the Leelanau peninsula and downtown Traverse City. Also nice to be able to dash across the street to a tiny bit of waterfront (not really a relaxing beach area, but big enough to dip your toes into the water). The house itself is exactly as described and shown in the photos. Tastefully decorated in mid-century modern. Plenty of space for two couples and can accommodate 2 couples easily. Nice private back yard with grill, table, lounge chairs, and fire pit area. Kitchen is adequately supplied for 4 people, and there's an abundance of bath towels and kitchen linens too. Just bring your toiletries for the shower and you're all set! No laborious checkout rules either. Good communication from the host throughout the booking and stay. I would definitely stay here again.
