Nesteled in the heart of Cleveland Heights - and within 10 minutes of down town which includes university circle, Cleveland Clinic, Case Western, University Hospitals, Museums, stadiums and just about anywhere in the downtown area.

We've completely transformed this 3 bedroom colonial with a whole new exterior (roof, windows, siding, driveway and landscaping). The Interior space was completely rewired (which means grounded service and outlets for all your electronics), completely gutted and rebuilt the full and half baths, Kitchen was pulled apart down to the wood studs and rebuilt, and the hardwood floors were brought back to life with a sand and restain. Enjoy the comfort and security in knowing that the furnace and air conditioner as well as the hot water tank are NEW.

The interior space was furnished with all new everything (furniture and bedding). As well as all the pots and pans, dishes, silverware and miscellaneious cookware and iteninsels .

This home is located within walking distance to Cain Park where they have live concerts, plays and art shows on a regular basis.

I usually balk at cleaning fees but this property was immaculate. Super super clean which I really appreciate. There was a rather large snow storm one night we were there and there must have been a plow service because the driveway was clear. Also very much appreciated. Great spot, quiet, and easy access to Cleveland Clinic and any other amenities. Will stay again!

We had an extended stay in the area for Cleveland Clinic. This house is in a perfect location for travel to the clinic and then to grocery stores/ restaurants. House was very clean and the neighborhood was good to walk our dog around. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this home. Since our Mom moved into a retirement community she can no longer host our family gatherings. We gave family in various areas of Ohio & Tennessee and us from Maryland. We had hoped this would be perfect for our annual Memorial Day cookout and it was ! Plenty of room for all of us to stay. Frank was most accommodating in his timely responses and ensuring that the grill was ready to go. Large kitchen, dining area, yard, and living room for all of us to enjoy our visit together. Extremely clean and well organized home in a quiet neighborhood. We absolutely loved it and will be renting Powell Avenue again.

This house was just what our family needed. We stayed w 5 adults and everyone was comfortable. We were there for my sisters memorial service and we were able to invite family over to relax and stay together after the service was over. The house is clean and well appointed and the neighborhood was quiet. I wish I had walked in Cain park but we were too busy. Thank you very much for a perfect place at an important time.

Property owner was quick to respond to all communication sent. Information received about property was easy to understand and follow. Only suggestion would be to have another television in the home.

We weren't quite sure what to expect in Cleveland, but what we did expect was a comfortable rental. When we arrived the snow was piled up on both sides of the driveway and the driveway was not plowed. This meant that when we exited the car after traveling for 11 hours, we were met with snow that covered our shoes. I actually had to get out on the driver's side, despite being a passenger because the mini snow bank that lined the driveway was too high for me to navigate. Upon entering the side door we were welcomed by a very slippery landing. The landing is positioned in a way that the stairs to the basement are to the left when you walk in and since it is so small, there is a real possibility of a tripping/slipping hazard that could result in a tumble down the stairs if a person is not careful. There was no mat to wipe our feet on so we were at the mercy of the slippery tile floor that when combined with our snow covered shoes became a hazard. Secondly, the pictures were very deceiving. The house was lacking in warmth and was not at all welcoming. Its an old house so its drafty, which is fine (I live in a 100 year old home myself), but it is clear that they invested the minimum in this property so that they could get it rented. The blinds were broken and when we opened them up there were dead flies in the windowsill. Thankfully when we called the property manager about not being able to close the door and the door lock beeping, he was incredibly responsive even though it was midnight. The beeping eventually subsided but the next day we were unable to lock the door when we left because the batteries in the lock had died. Again, the property manager was extremely responsive and sent someone over to fix it. Next, we slept horribly. The beds were furnished with the minimum and the mattresses were covered with waterproof mattress covers that zippered over the mattresses. Those are for storage, not for protecting a mattress from normal use. The mattress cover kept me from sleeping as it caused me to sweat during the middle of the night. The pillows were flat and the comforter was super thin. The next night I got smart and pushed the plastic cover up to the head of the mattress so I could at least try to get a good night's sleep. I could go on and on, but this little home, although charming from the outside, left a lot to be desired and left me wondering why I left home. I consider myself flexible in so many settings, but this wasn't worth the money.

We had such a beautiful time at 1924 Powell. It was the weekend of our daughter's wedding and we had permission to host our family and a few additional guests (10 people altogether) for our Friday night meal and Sunday morning brunch. This home is exquisite, and so well appointed. We had everything we needed to make very special memories and to get some much needed rest for all the flurry of activities we were responsible for navigating. Frank was wonderful in helping us with our last minute needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the house and in the neighborhood. It was very quiet and conducive to a peaceful retreat in a very active part of town. Things were very accessible and we would love to stay there again when visiting our daughter and our son-in-law. Thank you for providing us with the perfect place to set up our wedding central command post, and a wonderful place to recuperate and talk over our victories at the end of a busy weekend. We couldn't have asked for a better place. Staying at the Powell House surpasses any amenities at the local hotels. It is immaculate, cozy and the host is very personable and very responsive. Thanks again for making it available to us!
