Community Pool & Hot Tub, Destin, Beach Views! Rooftop Deck, Walk to Beach

The location was fantastic and was the biggest positive note. The gated community provided exclusivity and the private beach access was far nicer than having to fight for space on the public beaches. The house had everything we needed and had tons of space for our two families (4 adults, 7 kids) to cohabitate comfortably. The house slightly dated and worn in comparison to some of the others in the neighborhood, but was still quite nice. The biggest potential negative to point out that may affect others when booking is the occupancy level. The listing shows “sleeps 18”. Although this is true in regards to the number of beds, the house occupancy level is 14. If you really want to be picky, the property name is a little deceptive. “Ocean Views” only has a small view of the ocean from the rooftop when looking over other rooftops. That said, the sunset view on the other side is fabulous and a great end to a fun filled day.

This property was perfect for our large family, The en suite in every bedroom was very convenient. Easy access to the private beach and a golf cart to ride around the community. We will definitely be back!!

We had a great week overall, and the house itself was clean and in a good location. However, there were several disappointments that made the stay less enjoyable than expected.Only one TV in the house was a smart TV, and none of the other rooms had cable access. The listing advertised that the house sleeps 18, but the kitchen and dining setup were not equipped to comfortably accommodate that many people. There was not enough seating or serving capacity for a large group.The biggest issue was the kitchen. It was by far the least stocked kitchen of any beach house we’ve stayed in. Basic items were missing — they didn’t even provide a cookie sheet. The cookware that was available was in very poor condition, and the appliances felt very basic and low quality. Most of the utensils were plastic, and even though there was a grill, there were no grill utensils or cleaning tools provided.We ended up having to purchase several kitchen items ourselves during the trip because of how limited the supplies were. While we still enjoyed our vacation, the kitchen amenities were very disappointing and did not match what we expected for a home of this size.

Perfect location and set up for our group of 11. The bunk room with all queen beds made it very comfortable for my guys all over 6 feet tall. Perfect amount of bathrooms and the rooftop was amazing at night. Comfortable, convenient, and perfect weather made it an epic trip. Host was available at all times.

1st off they do not advertise that you can not rent your own golf cart for your stay. When I first booked it said it came with a 6 seater golf cart, it was in fact a 4 seater electric. The golf cart only goes to speed for about 10 minutes then it slows down to about 5mph. We had people honking and calling us names because of it. There was a good amount of rain during our last 2 days and the windows was pouring water on the stairs which made it dangerous being we had 4 kids under 6. The roof top door in the beginning only opened up pushing the handle up but why the 3rd day the door wouldn't even open from the inside. The refrigerator did not keep dairy products or drinks cold. The ice machine clogged up and didn't work for a day or two. Garage door has to be manually lifted and closed. There was houses on both sides of us that had major construction going on so starting at 9am you heard nothing but banging, machines breaking concrete, etc. We had a much better experience staying at cottage row and will never book again through this place.

Great location! Walkable to beach and pool. Really enjoyed our stay and already looking into booking our next trip.

The rental home was adequate for our needs. The space served its purpose and was clean and spacious. Having full baths for each room was a big bonus for us. We stayed a week and had family in and out of the house. The house is a close walk to the beautiful shores of Destin.

10/10!! Everything was perfect!

Everything was great! The property and neighborhood are wonderful. The garage door needs repair, but this really wasn't much of an issue. It was easy to lift up and down to get the golf cart out.

Great gone- very big and clean. The private neighborhood is a nice feature- beach was clean and walkable. The location was no further than 20 mins away from most things. The rooftop deck is away especially at night once it’s cooled down.

Great house. Only issue was the garage door opener was broken and never heard back from property management.

We enjoyed the house. The size of the house made it very comfortable for my family.We had a few issues which we reported. A big plus is the golf cart!

Everything was great and as expected other than the garage door didn’t work and no one came to fix it even after two requests to property management.

great property with lots of space for large parties. Perfect location with a short walk to the water. Would stay here again, highly recommend!!

We’ve done multiple different spots over the years in Destin but this location was the best so far. Private neighborhood and beach were well maintained and getting to the actual private beach from house is 2 minutes via walking at most. House was clean and the layout worked well for a large family of 8.

Got to town early, was able to check in early, comfortably slept 6 adults and 7 kids, golf cart made store trips so easy, literally just over a short block to ocean, beach is full of cool wild life, kids will remember this forever, will definitely come back to this same gated community

For a group who travels around America, this is by far one of the best houses we have stayed at yet. Location is in a gated neighborhood right on the beach with friendly neighbors. Beach is quiet and relaxing. The house was very comfortable and we had plenty of room. The roof top was a great feature and nice when the sun was out. Location of the house is 10 min away from any restaurant you want to go to

Perfect stay for a relaxing week

Our group had a great stay at this property! The location was excellent and the house itself was beautiful and spacious. We particularly enjoyed the private beach access.A few things could be improved for future guests. While the kitchen was large, we found the cookware to be a bit lacking for a house designed to accommodate so many people. Also, the ice maker in the garage was leaking, though it wasn't a major issue for us.The biggest point of concern was the beach access bracelets. We checked in with a party of 17, but were only provided 14 bracelets for the private beach. We brought this to the attention of the management twice, but it was never resolved. Thankfully, we were only asked to show the bracelets once and the beach staff were understanding. However, this could have been a much bigger problem.Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but hope the management addresses these minor issues, especially the bracelet situation, for future guests.
