Comfy Cherry Blossom Townhouse / Easy DC Access

We adored our stay at this beautiful home - plenty of room for a family of seven. Four bathrooms, and lots of little touches that made the place gorgeous - the Washington DC wallpaper, and the chess table, for example. Kitchen is fully stocked! Love the coffee set up. We easily traveled from here to the capitol and Supreme Court. It was a dream come true to stay here, and we hope to come back again.

Our host answered all questions promptly. It was an easy drive into the city. The amount of places to sleep was excellent for 4 adults and 2 children, ages 8 & 11 and plenty of bathrooms to accommodate all. Parking was tight to access but expected in the city. It's located on a busy street with typical city noise. We did not use the kitchen much at all but it seemed to be fully equipped.

Host experience was unacceptable my family and I slept in our cars our first night because we were locked out of the Home.I tried calling throughout the night I did reach a vrbo representative who was helpful and did try and assist..still no luck..we ran our cars to keep warm in below 60degree weather my 72 year old mothers medication that she needed to take before bed time was in the home all of our belongings including pocketbooks and credit cards because we couldn't take any bags in the venue we were attending that night only to return and be locked out I have requested a refund for this night the host told me she would call to discuss still no call its been 2 weeks my trip was everything it wasn't suppose to be I am requesting a full refund im so unhappy and will visit a hotel for my next stay where there is always management available.

Lovely home. Location was convenient to Catholic University and the Basillica. We appreciated the coffee!!

Property was great. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Host was very responsive.

This place works well for us as a working group. It is clean and spacious. It had the supplies that we need. This was our second year coming.Craig is easy to communicate with. The upstairs is warm when it is very hot out.

Property is renovated nicely. Had enough space to park our 4Runner just fine. Only issue is upstairs where the bedrooms are is always 5 degrees warmer than downstairs. Overall a very good stay!

Stayed here for a long weekend. The townhouse was beautiful and well maintained, check in was easy and received good communication. Highly recommended!

We were in town to visit our college kid - great location within 8-10 min from Howard, and within about 20 from many of the museums/monuments/touristy things. The home is pretty accurately represented in photos. Parking is very tight, but doable, even with a minivan (and bike rack on back). The entry app/system was a bit frustrating - I would much prefer a key pad and code. You have to be near to unlock the door with the app, and mid-stay we had an overlap in arrival between myself and my husband, so needed him to get the app and approval from owner so that he could get in the house - it was just a bit of a hassle and delayed response (they were busy, I get it) for husband to be able to enter house. House was clean for the most part - some kitchen items needed washed before using, and dust bunnies under some beds, but overall not an issue. Only real concerns were the uncovered windows on the rear of the lowest level (below grade, so people could see in easily), and a bit of a moth issue - maybe doors were left open during cleaning? It may be more of a DC/spring issue than house issue. Overall, we were happy with the home, the location, and would consider renting again while visiting.

Place was as described, and the owners were communicative throughout as needed! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in DC for the weekend!

This modern and well-kept townhouse makes great use of space and has plenty of space for the family. However, there's some molding in the bathroom on the basement floor, so a deep cleaning could be needed. The location is a bit out of the way, and you will need to drive everywhere.

This house was an absolute perfect place to stay while in DC. It was about a 20 min drive from center of DC where all the museums are or a 5 min drive from the Fort Totten metro station. Inside was perfectly sized for our family of 6 (2 kids took the bunk beds, 2 kids shared the queen). The house was clean, very nicely decorated and very inviting. We were able to use the grill one of the nights for dinner. The kitchen and whole house is equipped with everything you will need. There are even shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers. And they left sealed toothbrushes in case you forgot yours in the bathrooms. You can tell that they really care about the people staying here. Craig was amazing with communication as well and responded right away via cell. There were no dishwasher pods for our stay and he had the cleaner uber it to the house within a few hours. As previous reviewers have said, the parking spot is difficult to get into and we struggled with our minivan but made it work. However, do not let that deter you because the property itself is perfect. I would not hesitate to book again if we go to DC in the future.

This townhouse was absolutely stunning! Beautifully decorated with everything you need for a great stay. It has all the supplies that we needed for a 5-night stay so we did not need to purchase anything outside of food. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Fort Totten metro stop which is super convenient and there is a metro bus stop less than a block from the home. I would absolutely stay here again. The homeowner was easy to reach and super nice as well.

The house was perfect for our needs! It was very well stocked. The only thing we had trouble with was the parking spot. We had a large vehicle for the 7 of us, and it was very difficult to get in and out of the parking space. However, it worked and it was one of our favorite spots of our trip!

This property served just what we needed to work as educators on curriculum together.

I grew up 20 minutes away in MD and had mini family trip. We had an absolutely delightful stay at this Craig’s vacation rental! From the moment we arrived, the property was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and well-maintained. The living areas and comfortable bedrooms provided ample room for our family to relax and unwind with plenty of natural light. The kids had the basement to themselves. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare all meals. We even enjoyed the small patio for a glass of wine. There are some great restaurants nearby Timber Pizza, Menya Ramen and Little Food studio (10 mins drive) The house is located in a residential neighborhood on a busy street next to a fire station. Parking is in the back of the property. You hear traffic and an occasional fire truck, but it’s not bothersome. You definitely need a car or Uber drive to the METRO. Overall, this vacation rental exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic DC getaway.

Great accommodations, excellent location, and comfortable space for a family of 6. We enjoyed our stay and would book this location again for our next visit to DC. Easy to access the sights of DC, good restaurants within reasonable walking distance in the area, as well as access to stores for grocery & other needs. Easy to communicate with our host. Overall a great experience.

Pros: plenty of space, wonderful owner communications, house is well appointed. Con: difficult parking situation, even with one car maneuvering the driveway. Not a very walkable community if you need amenities close by.
