Only 4 blocks from The Broadmoor Hotel and 1 Block from Stratton Open Space trail head, which offers many miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, or challenge yourself on your road bike with a ride up North Cheyenne Cañon Road to Helen Hunt Falls!
Keypad lock on the door will be programmed to afour digit code that you choose. Keyless entry for your convenience, allows you to enter the property on your own. There is off street parking and a gate at the driveway entrance if you choose to close it.
The house has hardwood floors throughout and a fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials including flatware, plates, dishes, glasses, pots and pans, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, and coffee maker. There is a gas BBQ outside the back door.
Bedroom #1 has a Queen bed and bedroom #2 & #3 have full beds. The living room has a comfortable couchs, flat-screen HD TV, cable television, internet with free WiFi throughout the house.
There is a fantastic covered porch at the front of the house! Great for taking in the morning sun with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
There is a 2 car attached garage at the back of the house, with the first space available to you. Laundry with washer and dryer is located just off the kitchen. The bathroom has a tub/shower, sink etc. DOGS of certain breeds are welcome, no cats, no horses, dogs only! Pets are not allowed on the furniture or the beds! Pet fee is $50 PER PET! Contact owner for approval of pet breed and the number of pets that will be on the property. Smoking is allowed outside only, absolutely no smoking of anything inside the house!
Warning; there is a possibility of seeing wildlife in the neighborhood and on the property. This includes deer, bear and other wildlife. Again, pets are not allowed on the beds or the furniture. Short Term Rental Permit A-STRP-24-0667.

    The house was nice place for my family (2 adults, 2 kids) and was close to all the activities we wanted to do. I was in a quiet area and had everything we needed when we weren't out adventuring.

    The location of this house is excellent. It is close to the zoo, garden of the gods, pikes peak, and many various other hikes and waterfalls. The house itself was fine, but definitely old. The floors were very creaky and the bed my wife and I slept on was obnoxiously loud. Any repositioning would wake the other person up. The layout of the home was not very good for families with young kids. The doors don't seal noise out and the living room is in the middle of all the rooms, so it was hard to do much after the kids went to bed. This review is starting to sound negative, but the house really was enjoyable and offered everything you would want from a rental, I just feel it would be better for a family with older kids or only adults.

    The house had everything in it you needed for you to stay. Quite and comfortable. We were able to see some deer next door. The farthest drive we took was 30min only because my daughter wanted to go somewhere specific. It was a great location. The only thing that could have made it a little better is maybe some seating in the back area. This is more of a preference.

    This was a fabulous home base for The Broadmoor activities, COG Railroad to Pikes Peak, GOG and Glen Eyrie. Right up the street is a fabulous cafe, Sacred Grounds. The front porch is a great place to relax after a busy day and the mornings are magical with the deer. Highly recommend.

    The house was clean and beautifully decorated, and I greatly appreciate the kitchen and bathroom items available, since not all rental homes include those. We did have a small leak when it rained hard and the owner was over immediately and a plumber came to fix it within hours. My only complaint is the master bedroom bed was very squeaky for “mommy and daddy time”, especially with one of the kiddo room right next door. Otherwise, staying in this house made us feel at home for the week we were there. Thank you!!!

    While the owner is nice & responsive, the home needs updating. It is small, basic amenities, several windows do not have screens, air conditioner is window unit, bedrooms very small, could use new mattress in master bedroom, has old furniture......the location is great to Cheyenne Canyon and mountain activities. Home has garage and nice front porch & fenced in yard. Overall a good experience.

    We loved this place. It was perfect for myself, husband and two teens so they had their own room. Super clean, kitchen stocked with everything, and super close coffee shop and hiking. The owner very responsive and friendly with local recommendations. Easy drive to all locations to visit including Denver.

    House is perfectly located near Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and The Broadmoor. Huge hiking area just steps up the street with a cute cafe nearby. House was well appointed and Steve was so easy to work with. Highlight of the trip was the mama deer and her babies that were in the front yard every morning and evening. Highly recommend!

    My girlfriends and I came out to the Springs for some hiking and a 5k. This cozy house was perfect- close to trails, not far from downtown or Ivywild for some post hike drinks. There was a coffee shop and breakfast place just right down the road. The porch was perfect for chatting and enjoying natures sounds. It’s elevated far enough off the road so as not to be disturbed by cars driving by. Steve was very kind and communicative. We enjoyed our stay immensely!
