Comfortable house 500 m from the landing beaches

Brilliant property, so clean, bright and comfortable. Ideally located for visiting the many attractions in Normandy.

The cottage was excellent in all aspects from the owners meeting us onwards. It was very clean, had everything needed for our stay & the location was ideal for exploring the beaches & many places of interest. We would definitely recommend booking a holiday based in this property.

A lovely week in a beautiful part of the world. The location is ideal for exploring the wider area, but there is plenty to do locally with a walk to the beach or into Arromanches. The house is very well equipped and comfortable and has everything you could need.

We spent a wonderful week here as a family. The house is very clean and comfortable with all the amenities a family could need. The beach is very close, as advertised, and the location as a whole is just fantastic for exploring Normandy. Central for areas of interest but comfortable and quiet for a relaxed evening, we would definitely like to visit again.

The house is set along a quiet road looking out onto peaceful countryside. It is airy and light, well furnished, with all modern conveniences, including a secure garage. There was plenty of storage for our personal property, and the house was secure, spotlessly clean and our hosts were very friendly, meeting us on arrival, and guiding us around the property - giving us useful information about both the property and the surrounding area. The sea and a fabulous beach was a five minute stroll away, and we were able to walk to and from both Arromanches and Asnelles several times. Bayeux is twenty minutes away, and Paris (via the train), just over 2 hours. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would be delighted to recommend both it, and M and Mme Francoise, to other potential guests.

Spotlessly clean, well equipped, nice communication and welcome from host. Perfect location, easy to walk to beach, town and historical monuments, and to access supermarkets and Bayeux by car. We had a wonderful time.

We were met at the property by Roland and his wife. They were both very friendly and welcoming. They explained various features of the house and gave us advice on the best locations for supermarkets and bread shops. The house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen exceptionally well equipped. The location is quiet and peaceful. The property has excellent views of countryside from the rear patio. There is a short walk down into Arromanches. The path is a steep hill but the views of the bay and the remains of the Mulberry harbour make it worthwhile. We had a wonderful week with many pre-breakfast walks along the beach to Asnelles, stopping for a coffee and pastry on the way back.

Extremely pleasant hosts, v comfortable property, v clean and all the amenities you could possibly need. Super location for visiting the beaches and museums relating to DDay which was the purpose of our visit. Lovely garden with great views. V quiet and peaceful location and few minutes from a sandy beach. At low tide, a great walk along the beach to Arromanches-les-Bains. We highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed the week. The hosts are very friendly, the house is as described, equipped with everything necessary and more. We loved the location close to the beach.
