Thanks!
Comfortable and centrally located to downtown and restaurants.
It’s clear they tried hard, but this property was pretty rough. Broken tiles, water damage, squeaky floors. But the capstone was the strangle “burping” coming from the laundry room sink. I wanted to leave a good review because the host was awesome, left us coffe, fresh towels and great communication- but the property and the neighborhood were not a place I’d stay again. Sorry
Was a mostly good experience. The place was clean and reasonable for our stay. The property is pet friendly which was the reason we choose it. I found that I had no way to communicate with the owner though unless I created a vrbo account which I didn't want to do. We had a problem with the shower and we couldn't communicate with him about it. We did manage to make a work around but I can only give 4 stars because there is no alternative way to contact the owner.
The property was as advertised and worked great for the eight of us who stayed there. House was clean and everything worked well. The property owner was very helpful and easy to work with. Check in was smooth without issues.
There were a couple of things that made this property difficult for my family which includes a toddler and an infant. One of the rooms has a diaper changing table, so I think the host is interested in having families stay--the addition of an optional baby gate for the top of the stairs is necessary to make it safe for anyone 3 and under. The floor in the whole duplex creaks with *every* step, so if you hope to put kids to bed and then sneak to the living room good luck. The tile in the shower is far too slick and my three year old slipped and bonked his head on the random bathtub filling faucet thats just...in the shower? The iron railing on the front steps has rusted away and poses a safety hazard. And lastly, none of the flooring is actually nailed to the support joists. My spouse was in the basement doing laundry and he looked up and noticed he could just...push up on the ceiling and it would lift the floor. The neighborhood is working class, which doesn't bother me (I grew up in Spokane, my dad lives 15 blocks away from this house), but some mind find it scary. Overall this place was fine--we appreciated that we could have our dog, and there was enough space for us. But the safety issues make it some place that we will not stay in again. I would recommend this place for folks coming into town for Gonzaga games or for business travel.
Property was adequate for our stay. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was in the home. Host is an excellent communicator.
This place is so cute and cozy and perfect for what we needed. Everything was so accessible and stores close by. Cleanliness is definitely a 10. I felt secure in having my small kids there who love to play on the floor and crawl around. The property manager was very helpful and quick to respond which was really nice when we weren't able to get in one night (no fault of the manager). We would definitely stay here again if/when we come back to Spokane.
It’s great that he allowed our cats, not all properties tat allow pets do that.
The pictures looked great, looked modern and clean. Turns out it was in a sketchy neighborhood with terrible finish work on the inside. Unhygienic tile in the bathroom with cracks and gaps in the mortar. Unsafe railing down the stairs. Lots of unfinished and amateur work. Unattached vanity in the bathroom, visible shims to hold things together, the list goes on and on. Owner did not honor refund when leaving a day early due to the creepiness factor. Unhappy with the value of the listing price.
