Located one-half block from the Pacific Ocean and the wide sandy beaches of Cabrillo Boulevard, this three-bedroom, one-bath residence is the back unit of a beachside duplex. The location could not be more convenient for taking full advantage of iconic East Beach's coastal playground and the beauty that defines Santa Barbara as a world-class destination.

This cozy cottage will accommodate up to six people with queen-size beds in two bedrooms and a third room with two twin beds, each dressed in fresh coastal colors. A hall bathroom has a large walk-in shower, a soaking tub, and dual sinks. The living room, with television, features seating in a sunny window for curling up with the latest Santa Barbara or 805 magazines to see where to go next. Or sit down to a great meal at the dining table with patio views adjacent to the well-equipped kitchen.

The enclosed garden patio provides dining and space for outdoor grilling and conversation. There is a detached laundry room (shared with the front unit) with a bathroom. This unit also includes off-street parking for up to two cars. As is typical with many Santa Barbara homes, this property does not have AC. Open windows and the use of fans allow ocean breezes in to keep the house cool during hot summer months.

Take a bike ride or brisk stroll along the waterfront to the Santa Barbara Zoo, the East Beach volleyball courts, Stearns Wharf, and the Andree Clark Bird Refuge.     This place is amazing! The location could not be better with the beach literally across the street and freeway access a few blocks away. The pictures are exactly what the place looks like. The host, Lydia, was extremely helpful and patient while I navigated a slight payment issue. The house is well stocked and the beds are super comfy! The bathtub is AMAZING! We weren’t able to use the he back patio area due to weather, but I imagine in the sunshine it would be a great place to grill and hangout. I will definitely be back as soon as possible!! Highly recommend!

    Parking was not always available if others were in the drive. Esp with two groups trying to leave at 10. House was clean. Great location. Needs a wine opener.

    location good for us, attending a wedding at east beach by chromatic gate, and we could see the property from there. Parking generous, easily fit 3 cars. It’s a duplex and you can occasionally hear neighbors, but not bad. Grocery nearby not a far walk. About a mile walk to wharf area was ok if you’re in the mood for a longer stroll, otherwise a quick uber is easy.Overall comfortable. I slept in one of the twin beds - which in quality and size, was more suitable for kids., but doable. Portable fans in all bedrooms handy on warm nights.Fridge wasn’t working, I wish I had noticed that right away. but they were responsive once I called and got someone over to fix it quickly. One bathroom, but clean and spacious. Nice thick new towels. Water pressure so/so but that might be the area.Could have used washcloths, kleenex,and a non-slip mat for shower.

    We are a mature couple, former Santa Barbara residents, who spent the winter in this unit. We found it to be clean, comfortable and quiet. We loved that the beach was only 1/2 block away!
