Comfort and Convenience in the Wilds: Bull Hollow Lodge

Great place for a large crowd

This is the second time we have stayed at a home owned by the owners. Both places were well cared for and had many necessities available. We enjoyed both places.

Always a great experience. Plenty of amenities and a smooth no-hassle booking.

We loved our stay! Everything was as described, very clean, plenty to do! It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. We saw deer in the backyard multiple times. It was so nice to sit on the back deck listening to the birds and the stream that is down in the woods a bit from the property. We will definitely stay here again!

The place is perfect and near everything. There was only three of us, but we plan on coming here again, because of all the space. It is so nice having 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, nice size rooms and even a game room. The yard was big and private with a wooded area to walk the dogs. Having two nice decks in the summer and fall would be so enjoyable too. The place was spotless and had all the supplies one would need. The hosts were wonderful and so helpful with everything. We can’t wait to stay here again.

We had an enjoyable stay! The house was very toasty, clean, and everything worked. The host gets extra points for finding a friend with a truck who helped us get our car out of a ditch down the road when no tow truck would come. There are some roads in the area that are not maintained in the winter. Our bad. Make sure you have an AWD in the winter.

The cabin was cozy, comforable and made us feel right at home. The wifi went in and out sometimes but when it went out it wasn't for that long and I expected as much in a rural mountainous area like that. The only thing I would mention in the negative is that the housecleaner should check to make sure previous guests wipe the counters down sufficiently. I say this because when I was wiping counters down, as requested, on the day we were leaving, I had to wipe up someone else's mess behind the toaster. Other than that everythinng was great and I would definitely stay here again. Oh, and though we didn't see any elk at the viewing areas, on our way home along Rte. 555 we saw a herd with an awesome bull.

The house has a nice layout with ample space. Front and back porch/deck is nice.

The property is secluded and private, but also close by a main route and very convenient. The house was nice and clean, and had all the amenties to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Easy parking, easy to get to, and comfortable house.

Very nice location, comfortable beds, clean (except for under the range hood above the stove - needs a cleaning).Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper & cleaning necessities.The deck off the dining area is nice with polywood chairs but needs a table!.We sat off the higher deck off the living room every night - much better scenery to look at & hear the birds. We did have turkey and deer, no elk but there is a very bad drought now which causes the elk to be be near areas with water - we did see a lot!. Water pressure is a bit low but probably also due to the drought.All and all a very nice stay and we would stay there again!

Nice, clean house. Secluded enough from other homes but close enough to a town with lots of stores & restaurants. Close drive to Benezett to see the elk.

The property was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there. However, the basement needed attention to clear the musty odor that seemed to affect the bunk room.

We’ve stayed (3 couples) here for several years for the Elk Expo. We love the location and I hope the water problem got resolved. The downstairs is beautiful but the bedroom mattress is terrible.

Our first day there we had 3 large bull elk in the yard…we sat and watched them for about 40 mins. Home is very nice and well maintained and they had everything you needed right there. Enjoyed our stay very much!

A nice, mountain escape with a hunting lodge theme. A great spot for a group of adults or a large family to stay because there are several rooms and bathrooms as well as plenty of parking.The owners were generous enough to accommodate us extending our stay for unexpected family reasons.We would stay here again :)

Had a great time even with the rain

Stayed in this property for two nights with family. The place is secluded but easy to access. We were all extremely impressed with how clean the house was and how much room there was. We hung out by the firepit at night which was wonderfully convenient. We visited the bait shop down the road and the owner was wonderful. He was able to tell us where they recently stocked and we were able to catch around 30 fish between the 3 of us fishing. The stream was stunning and looked like something out of a Bob Ross painting. Overall, were were all extremely impressed with the property and will be returning with the kids as soon as we can make it back!

House was secluded, but close to where we wanted to explore. Was stocked with everything one needs for being away from home. Plenty of room to spread out. Great value! Would recommend.

As always a great stay! Very clean, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, fun in the game room and best of all the fireplace! We had a nice and cozy stay. This is our 3rd stay at the house and pleasantly surprised with the beautiful updates.we will definitely be back. It’s my elderly parents favorite place to go!

Us girls have been friends for 50 years (since Kindergarten) and friends as couples about 30 years now. This is our second trip together to Elk County and again it did not disappoint! Bull Hollow Lodge was absolutely perfect and had everything and more that we could have asked for. We hope to come back again!
