Clean room, quite, beautiful setting. Charming Front and back yard. Close to the plaza. If only the bed can be made more comfortable. Great host.

The room was very clean and cute, but quite small which couldn't be appreciated by photos. The only place to sit was one wooden chair. The only sitting area was outside. Kiva fireplace has a sign saying no fires so that is also misleading when you look at the pictures. Coffee pot was missing filter component so it leaked. Tried to use the room wall furnace, but it didn't work either.

This is a facility that represents Taos style and felt very homey. The only thing that might be improved is that we couldn't block out light within our room. But the garden was charming and we could sit outside and enjoy it, either in the front or the back of our room. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. Centrally located near the plaza and good restaurants.

The room had a warm homey feeling. The onsite features were great, comfortable patio to sit in. Decor fit the Taos area. We were 3 blocks from old town. It was a very quiet location. We will return next year to enjoy.

Cute place, nice decor and room had everything we needed. Coffee maker could have a more convenient outlet to use. Nice outside sitting areas but couldn’t take advantage of them because of weather. Convenient to shops and eating places.

The description was completely accurate. I chose a small unit without a full kitchen. That said, the host included many extras (coffee, tea, some snacks) and lots of information in the area. The common courtyard was sweet - I sat outside there a bit even though there was a more private area in the back of the unit. Easy walk to the plaza, very quiet. I would stay there again.

This was a fabulous location and the most charming setting possible.

Clean space, cozy bed, and very pretty courtyard area to enjoy in addition to our private sitting area. Close to the town center.

Quaint, very quiet... except for the bells at the nearby church, but they aren't bad. Very, very small, but adequate. Good area to park in - access of which is better made through the elementary school parking lot rather than the way GPS sends you, down a narrow alley. Fireplace doesn't work. One lamp didn't work. Electric outlets are at a premium. We had to unplug lamps and such in order to charge phones/computer.

It was great to be back at La Posada de Taos. The room was very comfortable.

Husband & I stayed 4 nights. Room was good for just the two of us. Easy walk to historic plaza & shops/restaurants. Enjoyed sitting on back patio. Would have been nice to have a larger refrigerator than dorm size but worked fine for our drinks. Clean and had everything we needed.

Check in was easy. Very nice place, bed was comfortable, would have been nice if there had been a kitchen sink so we could have washed up the dishes. Nice neighborhood with walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Such a cute cozy casita. We loved our mornings drinking coffee in the garden and sleeping with the cool cross breeze blowing through the room. Location was excellent. Close to the square but still nice and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location. Right by the church we go to when on Taos and close to Plaza. So clean!!

Really please with the room. Internet couldn't support watching a movie on TV but that was okay. The internet kept loading and you had to shut off the TV and restart the application.

Had everything I needed @ a good price. Exceptionally convenient to the centre of Taos so could walk in & out rather than having to drive, but also easy to access when I drove further afield. Could do with a bit of an update, especially the light switches & brightness of the lamps. Good housekeeper too.

Nice, clean and convenient - an easy quick walk to old Sante Fe. Our issue was with the bed. The whole thing was set up on a portable frame that had no struts across the middle. The mattress and box spring were only supported around the perimeter, so everything sagged towards the center of the bed. I asked for extra blankets and tried to fill in the depression, which helped somewhat. I took photos and sent them, with an explanation of the problem, to the host, who said the mattress was less than a year old but that the owner was going to buy a new mattress - however, without a better frame, the same thing will happen in no time. Besides dealing with our stiff backs, we enjoyed our stay here. The back gate was especially charming.

We loved our stay here and it was perfect to explore Taos, Santa Fe, the Rio grande, and all the amazing food and sites! The bed was comfy, we loved sitting on the back porch, and the small accommodations were perfect t for the 2 of us. Note that there is no ac and you are in an adobe structure and the fan kept us comfortable!!

The gardens are beautiful, the room, even though small was very clean and was very cute. Lot's of nice touches. We love our night there and will come back next time we're in Taos.

I only had one night at La Posada but am definitely planning a return trip! The property is serene and the suite was very comfortable!

We stayed for two nights. The location is wonderful. The sitting area was tranquil and very peaceful. The interior was cozy, only one chair. The kitchenette area needed more prep level space. The biggest issues to my wife and I, were lack of electrical outlets. We had to plunge and unplug the coffee pot to use a lamp and the bedside lamps didn't

The location was perfect for my requirements. Fixtures & fittings were a bit archaic, but to be expected given the reasonable price. I would not expect the owner to spend heavily to bring it up to date, but an update of the lamp switches & a bit more brightness would be appreciated. The toilet seat was the brightest place to sit & read. I would stay again.

The property was comfortable and clean. Two screen doors and screens on windows were fantastic because i like sleeping with the windows open and the temperature was perfect. Outdoors areas including front patio and back porch were terrific assets for us. We like to relax outdoors. This property is close to everything in town - easy walk to most places we wanted to visit.

The room felt cozy and tucked in and I loved the location of the property.

We appreciated the historical neighborhood setting of this Vrbo unit. The room was very tiny, lacked a comfortable chair to sit inside on, and had a very small bathroom. The bed was highly comfortable and the outdoor seating nice. Thus our 3 star review. So too we drive a 22ft van and requested parking instructions to navigate safely into to the property. Due to a 90 degree turn from a narrow road, into a narrow property, it was impossible to enter the property per instructions provided the host. Be aware if such if you drive a larger vehicle.A neighbor saw us and alerted us to the dangers and helped secure and navigate to a safer parking entry from a public school lot. Thus communiction was given a 3 star.

Posada was clean, comfortable, well decorated and well situated. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Our daughter was married outside of Taos and we needed an early check-in. Louisa was kind enough to let us know our room was ready early, but the wedding ended up being early, so we checked in late around 8:30 pm. It was dark and a bit challenging finding our way to the room, but Louisa talked us three finding it easily! The room was perfect - clean and had everything we needed to relax and get some sleep. The coffee was great in the morning and it was very quiet and peaceful. Great stay!!

On our first visit to New Mexico this little cottage was a wonderful little home to return to after after exploring the nearby sights and museums of Taos - many within walking distance. We especially enjoyed sitting outdoors and sipping coffee or having a treat in the courtyard at the beginning or end of the day.

La Posada was a cozy place to stay! Unit and grounds were both well maintained. Bed was comfortable, shower clean and refreshing. Entry way provided large coat rack for all the outdoor clothing you will need. Location is walking distance to many restaurants and downtown shopping. Also, this is a short drive to both scenic Rio Grand Gorge and Taos ski resort.

This was the perfect spot to spend a few days in Taos. It was thoughtful of the hosts to include coffee, snacks, and a couple beverages in the mini fridge.

Wonderful hosts and a charming property

We loved how quiet it was, yet within walking distance of the Taos Plaza and numerous restaurants, cafes, wine bars, museums, and the university. Our only problem (which our host had no control over), was the internet was down all across Taos for the two days of our visit. So, the cellular bandwidth was saturated, making it difficult to navigate or access the email message with the crucial information on getting into our room! The blessing in that is that we weren't distracted by our phones, and could focus on what Taos really has to offer: the Pueblo, the Earthships off highway 64 (we recommend the tour), the outdoor dining, and the art and music.

We stayed in the Monterrey Room which was cozy, beautifully decorated and had all the amenities one could need. The courtyard and sitting area was inviting and comfortable. We were lucky enough to meet Kent, Angela and Mercer who were warm and helpful with excellent recommendations. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early to hurry home in front of Hurricane Helene. We would love to return and stay a few more days.

The property is in a great location. It is walkable to many galleries, boutiquies and restaurants. Even though this room is quite small, it has everything we needed, and quite comfortable. The courtyard was so nice to sit and have a glass of wine in the evening and visit. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at La Posada de Taos. The room was cozy and the outdoor courtyard area was shady and inviting for morning coffee, an evening cocktail, or simply reading a book. The location is two blocks to the Taos Plaza and it was so nice to be able to walk over and explore the area. The managers were responsive to messages and got back to us quickly. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Taos!
