We had a wonderful stay at Villa Lobo! Chris is so friendly and hospitable. Everything we required was provided and the place has such a pleasant ambience. We used it as our base for the many day trips we made, and also spent a couple of days just basking in the garden. Would recommend it to anyone.

In general it’s a cool and beautiful place to stay in summer for those who like to relax. I enjoyed this place with my family. I stayed for 7 nights but I wish I could stay longer if only I had enough time. Above all it’s nice and clean environment along with two soccer fields which we spent our time playing soccer with my kids.

Chris and Amy were so very welcoming and kind. We loved the country setting of the house and were comfortable inside and out. Great location near to hiking trails, pubs, family activities, and quick drive into Toronto and easy to get to Niagara/ wine country for a day trip. Great location close to everything but far from the hustle and bustle of the city. We had a great time. The kids loved the big field to play soccer and we grilled out nightly. Yes there is a train track on the edge of the property and yes you can hear the train go by. It didn’t spoil our stay and we’d definitely return to villa lobo! Thank you Chris and Amy for your hospitality and kindness.

We stayed at Villa Lobo June 2018 (4 adults). This was our first time in Canada. Chris called us the day we were to arrive so he could meet us in person, welcome us, show us around, and answer any questions we had, but unfortunately, we were behind schedule and arrived later than expected. When we did meet him the next day he asked how everything was going and if we need anything. We told him about the coffee pot not working properly and he immediately phoned his wife and off he was. He returned a short time later with a brand new coffee machine. You couldn’t get that kind of fast service in a hotel! It has been mentioned that a train blasts through blowing its whistle and shaking the house. This is so overblown. Yes, it is near train tracks (as stated in description) and trains pass by but not tranquil is completely false. None of us woke up because a train was passing by; in fact, none of us heard it during the night. We ending up staying there during part of the Word Cup of Soccer and watched some games – the train didn’t bother us at all. The house is well stocked from kitchen cookware, spices, and pans to bathroom soaps, towels, shampoo. Bedroom has soft linens and plenty of pillows. The yard has plenty of seats, a working grill (with propane), and a picnic table. There is so much more we could say about Villa Lobo. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. It is a wonderful oasis. We visited a farm that was close by that has wine tasting and pick your own strawberries. If you are looking for a place to relax and get away from city noise this is the place! Although we didn’t get a change to meet Amy, Chris was very accommodating and welcoming. We are hoping to return to Canada next year and hope to bring more family members to Villa Lobo. Defiantly a place to visit again!!! Ebrahimnejad Wisconsin

When we arrived I noticed the industrial ear plugs by the bed . That night the the first of 4 trains blasted there warning whistles 50 meters from Villa Lobo. The room literally shook and no sleep was had We left early because it was so poor This was not disclosed anywhere on the description and I would never have rented knowing how uncomfortable we would be I feel cheated

Used the home for our base as we went to Toronto and Niagra Falls, Chris was easy to deal with there are some Ontario things that we didn't quite understand but it was nice to stay in a home where towels, bedding, and soap were provided

Villa Lobo is a wonderful, peaceful oasis within a reasonable driving time of Brampton, Mississauga and Toronto. Surrounded by farms and cornfields our stay was a wonderful opportunity to experience rural cottage Canada on the doorstep of Toronto. It is within 30 minutes of Square One (Mississauga), 20 mins to Shoppers World (Brampton) and 1 hour to Downtown TO. Local shops are in nearby Georgetown which has a wonderful Farmers Market on Saturdays and everything you need to stock up the fridge. There are also places to go strawberry picking only 5 mins away. There is plenty of room both within the property and the surrounding grounds to have a family & friends gathering and enjoy nature and the summer sun. Villa Lobo is well equipped with utensils, linen. towels, blankets and laundry facilities which allowed us to make it into a home very quickly. Chris Lobo is a helpful, dedicated and pleasant host who assisted us at every opportunity to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend Villa Lobo for a relaxing stay.

Wow! we were so excited and thrilled to find out Villa Lobo was such a great find and such a lovely property! The house is located in the country with farming crops around, large lawned area and adjoining forrest. You feel like you are on a retreat.Incredibally though, just 7 mins away, either way-are amazing shops, restuarants and attractions-so close to everything! We are a family of 5, with 3 small children from Australia. Our 2 mothers also came to stay with us at Villa Lobo, and there was plenty of room to accomodate us all. The house was so amazingly well equipt with everything that we could possibly need and very bright, fresh and clean. Chris and Amy Lobo, the home owners are a terrific, friendly, hospitable couple. They were attentive to any needs, maintained the property whilst we were there a month and were easy to chat too, but yet gave privacy. They went above and beyond the call of duty when family illness made us return home suddenly too. Since returning home to Australia we still talk about and miss our Villa Lobo house, sitting on the front porch looking out at the lovely green acreage, sipping a nice drink, watching squirrels- so relaxing:) We would definately recommend this property to anyone and we would love to return to it on our next stay in Canada. A super spot! Thanks Chris and Amy!

This villa is perfect for large groups, we were two French couples with very young children who really enjoyed our stay at Villa Lobo . It's spacious, very clean and very convenient. The owners were really friendly and helpful all throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the space and the serenity of the place. We will definitely go back there if we go back to Ontario. Thanks again for making our holiday so nice and confortable!!
