This was such a beautiful beach house! Great neighborhood, great location and stunning powdery Sandy Beach!! we had an absolute blast and it was an amazingly romantic week!

really enjoyed our short stay,... would definitely book again if it's available for a longer future visit.

Pleasant stay right at the beachfront! Had everything we needed, especially when traveling with 3 young children. Clean and description was accurate. Just a lot of mosquitos outside the property.

This house was perfect for our family of four and our big vacation for the year. Downstairs was great for hanging out and for the kids (bedroom with bunks, very nice kitchen, and living room area, laundry, etc). Upstairs for the parents was awesome - great view of the Gulf from the bedroom with its own deck, nice bathroom, just right.For what we paid we got a lot more in value. The beach is just out back. Never felt a need to visit the busier tourist beaches up near the sea wall. Very minimal beach traffic, and very quiet.About 20-30 minutes to the main touristy stuff on the island, but we wouldn't have to drive much to get anything we needed. Plenty of smaller stores very close (like 5 minutes), groceries, etc. And it was nice to come back to a quiet spot with what felt like our own beach when we were done doing tourist things.Communications were super easy, uncomplicated check in and check out. We got more than our money's worth! Thanks again!

Easly in my top 3 Beach Houses I have rented! Very clean, A/C was cold, 50 steps to the beach and beds were comfortable! Me and the kids had the best time, would definitely recommend this Beach house! We hope to be back!

My husband, two young sons, and I found the house a perfect choice for a family getaway. While the beach front is close to public access, it did not feel that way. Our space on the beach was clean and peaceful. We fished, made sand castles, and relaxed. The house is beautiful, clean, and stocked with anything you may need. The owner was easily accessible and helpful for any questions we had. Will definitely plan to stay again when we are back in town.

Great view and amazing location to enjoy the beach from your home.

This is a cute property in a great location. Two bedrooms- a master suite up, second room down. Great for a family. Location is ideal- away from the high traffic areas but not so far that you feel isolated. Grocery, gas, restaurants are a very close drive. Very casual vibe to the house. Not luxury but not low end either. Everything you need to enjoy a long weekend at the beach. And hostess was very responsive and helpful.

Wife and I enjoyed a fantastic getaway walking the beach, riding bikes, and grilling. Enjoyed it!! Thanks Katie and I hope our little visitors are all safe :)

We had such a good, quick family trip to Galveston at this property! The location was just what we were looking for. Communication with the host was great from start to finish, the house had everything we needed, it was nicely cleaned, and we all had a great time. There was a nearby small grocery store that took just a few minutes to walk to and was so convenient when we realized we left some items at home. Overall this was a great Galveston getaway.

The house was super cute and the location was perfect! Easy to get in and out for traveling and close to Galveston proper. There was also amazing proximity to the beach!! Overall, it was a wonderful stay!

The house was very clean and you couldn't beat the location on the beach. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was also very quiet, just the gentle roar of the ocean right outside your window.

Quiet beach

Katie was exceptional communicator and very prompt. The home is clean and has a very comfortable feel to it. There were a few minor damages but nothing that got in our way too much or made our stay unpleasant. The mosquitos in the area were exceptionally bad that weekend due to the storm and the proximity to some marsh type lands. Nothing the owner can do about it (it’s Galveston!) but I would recommend a strong bug spray for walking to the beach. .Would stay again!

Location was good, the beach was not crowded and of course how can you beat staying in a beach house when all you need to do is open the sliding glass door and you are a few steps to sand, surf and the relaxing sound of the ocean the entire stay.

There wasn't a single aspect of the booking that didn't exceed expectations. The house was immaculate and full of every accommodation needed during our stay. The pictures do no justice to the views and wonderful feeling you get from just being there. Will absolutely be coming back to stay at the Ivory Turtle on our next visit to Jamaica Beach Galveston! Thank you Katie for being such an incredible host!

Great place with great beach access! Would stay here again!

This was a great house, right on the beach with private path to beach. We enjoyed swimming and fishing right in front of the house. Not crowded at all, and away from the hustle/bustle of town. A few restaurants close by, and others a short drive into town. The location and view are excellent, and Katie was quick to respond to any questions we had. We'd love to stay here again!

We loved it! The house is beautiful, the views amazing…we are already missing the sound of the surf and the pelicans gliding over the deck in perfect formation. You can’t go wrong renting here.
