Colorful & Quiet 3-Bedroom Charmer near Downtown

Stayed two nights in this great property. The owners have clearly put a LOT of thought and creative energy in making this fun for all ages. Everything was so clean and exactly as pictured. Hosts were proactive communicators and kind people. Would love to stay again when we come to Des Moines.

This was our 2nd stay at this cute home! We will be staying again! They are dog friendly, but you would not know that when inside. The house is clean and tidy. No evidence of past pets. If we had kids, this house is built for them. A playroom and more. The proximity to Drake University is perfect! It's about a 4-minute drive straight down and made it easy for us to come and go as many times as we wanted while visiting our student for the weekend. This booking I had to ask for a couple changes as I had messed up on my end. They were so easy to work with and took great care of me. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Perfect place for family stays. The house was exactly what we needed for the week. Cozy rooms and excellent playroom/craft room to keep little hands entertained.

Thanks for a great stay! We love the quiet neighborhood. Took several nice walks. We moved our son into Drake. It was a straight shot down Forest Ave and we were at his dorm in couple minutes. We had to change up our days as I had made a mistake. They were so easy to work with. We already booked for our next Des Moines visit! The house is so cute and clean. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog and us not having to walk him late at night. If it was a little cooler, we would have enjoyed sitting outside!

Great stay! Hosts were friendly and responsive. Lots of fun things to do for the kids, beautiful big backyard. Rooms were nicely appointed. Neighborhood was awesome and central to everything - would definitely stay again!

10 day stay for two adults and a dog. Safe and secure backyard suitable for pets and children. Property was very clean and owner was very accessible. The information for staying in the house were well explained. Nice playroom if you’re traveling with children. All basics needed for cooking.

my nephews ages six and three came over on a rainy Sunday and had the best time playing in the basement ninja kids area and also with all of the toys off of the dining room. It is a perfect house for kids complete with a stepstool in the bathroom so they can reach the sink, kid dishes and silverware well, a huge fenced backyard and deck. They absolutely loved it and had the best time

Property managers are attentive to details and truly care that you are comfortable and have everything you need. Neighborhood is quiet and neighbors friendly. The stay couldn’t have been better.

I came for a week with my 5 and 8 year old. We all enjoyed this lovely house! Location - wonderful. Stores, restaurants and park nearby. Beautiful quiet street. House - comfortable. Had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked and back deck was perfect to relax and eat on. Beds - super comfy we all slept great! Kid stuff - tons! basement gym was a highlight and the toy room and crafts kept them busy. A nice school park 2 blocks away. Nice neighborhood to walk, bike, scoot. If you have kids this is the house to stay in!

This home is perfect if you are traveling with children! It has a wonderful play room and great back yard complete with enough toys and crafts to keep your kids busy. The kitchen is cute and had everything we needed. The neighbor is nice with a grocery store and coffee shop within walking distance. The hosts are wonderful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
