Colina del Mar, Elegant 6-bed home, infinity pool, spectacular views, gated hilltop home overlooking Tamarindo bay

The hacienda style house is spectacular, creatively decorated and has amazing views. Very clean and the staff is very attentive. Having JC nearby on site was very helpful too. Kitchen is well stocked and the BBQ grill is a nice amenity. The landscape around the property is so lush and pretty. Great location right near the beach and town. Sunsets are fabulous! We would recommend this location for anyone with a group of people. The road to the house is not good however and really needs to be paved for the sake of the residents and drivers. Shower drains need to be snaked and cleared for better drainage.

From the moment you step on property, it is an incredible view perched upon a hill with fabulous sunsets. The property manager was very helpful and nice. Very highly recommended for our family vacation. The house is very clean & well appointed. A few things to note... only one parking spot so might want to consuder gas powered golf carts (need power for the steep hill) or atvs. Its also easy & cheap to uber down the hill to town. Also the bedroom setup is a bit different than anticipated. There are 3 room setups. Master bedroom & bath with another bedroom (no separation/privacy). Second is a two story guest house with 2 bedrooms, both with ensite baths. Third is lower level two bedrooms sharing a bathroom & living area. There's also a laundry area with double machines. Highly recommended & would return!

The property was as beautiful as advertised, and the property managers rpm. and Juan Carlos went above, and beyond what we expected. Had a great stay in Costa Rica, and our accommodations were a big part of that thank you for everything Lola, German, and Juan Carlos.

We have done allot of travel over the years. This was easily the most incredible place we have been to.

This is a beautiful house with a stunning view that is close to Tamarindo town and beaches. Property was extremely clean and well kept and communication and help through RPM and onsite property manager was excellent. Highly recommend chef Fabien who cooked a superb dinner. Also Maria provided an incredible cooking class for our children. All around great rental!!

The property is spectacular; the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It all went nearly perfectly. We delivered a set of repair recommendations to the property manager (Juan Carlos) which were minor, but need to be addressed. The only problem was the hill to get to Casa Colina --it is challenging, to say the least. It's a trade-off between view/proximity and ease of access to downtown.

Reviewer Comments: We were a group of 2 families and the layout of the home was fantastic in providing separate living spaces for all of us. As soon as you open the front gate you are greeted with one of the most spectacular views. Tamarindo is a bustling little town with lots of activity. The villa was a treat to step away and relax in after a daytrip or day on the beach. It is so peaceful and serene. It is quite a climb on foot to reach the property. Taxis are readily available if you don't want the exercise. Our group rented a golf cart which was so handy for trips to the beach and grocery stores. If you rent a golf cart (we rented from the kiosk at the Auto Mercato) - let them know where you are staying. We had an issue with our golf cart but the owner of the golf cart company will be able to rectify this if they know where your villa is. For the price of the villa rental, there are a few shortcomings - no hair dryers, glassware and silverware have been around way too long. There are no extras with respect to sporting equipment. We purchased 2 boogie boards at 70USD each, a volleyball, paddleball set to add to our enjoyment - thought it would have been nice if some of these things were already there. All in all, it was a fantastic property and it was a great part of our enjoyment in Tamarindo. Check out Black Stallion Ranch on Trip Advisor - this is a gorgeous property about 10 minutes from town. They offer an evening BBQ with the most fantastic food. The host, Alex goes above and beyond to provide a very memorable experience. They have a shuttle available that can transport people to his ranch or a taxi will cost about $10. The price of the BBQ includes all drinks and food. The ziplines at the ranch offer one of the most beautiful views in the area.

The photos are incredible, but do not even do the beauty of the house justice. Amazing views, fantastic infinity pool, more than enough room, and a thoughtful layout greeted us and left us all in awe. This was true paradise. The housr and grounds were well kept and extremely clean. Our contact Lindsay was incredibly helpful, and I would most definitely work with them again if I ever return to Costa Rica.
